An endless darkness over came me as my last bit of strength flowed out of my body. Cold, stiff air pulling me down into nothingness as I let go the black abyss looks back at me. Then I hear a noise, I don't know where or how but it was a buzzing noise that was far away at first but slowly came closer just like before in my last dream but this time there was a clanging sound with it, like metal hitting metal. I turn side to side to see where the sound was coming from but I only see darkness all around me. Panic start fulling my veins as I turned side to side in a grown panic try to locate the where the sound was coming from as the sounds grew closer and closer. Then sharp pull yanked me out making me to gasp out and throw my eyes wide open like breathing out from out under the water.
"Hey!,hey you good boss. You good"
I look around my surroundings in a sharp panic then blink my eyes open and close repeatedly to shake off the confusion out my mind and see that I'm in a bed. A very big bed in a very lavish over the top royal room.
"Where the hell am I?" I question as I continue to look as I slowed down my breathing."This isn't my room." I turned to see it was Sol who as next to me sitting on the most comfortable arm chair.
"Yeah,I know. It the Emperor." He said as he shrugged his shoulders like it was no big deal.
"What! What the hell do you mean it Emperor room!"
"Like I said it's the Emperor room" He repeated. I gave him a look of 'well why the hell am I in the bloody Emperor room ass face'. Then he sighs, this stupid ass idiot sighs at me like I don't pay his gambling ass checks.
He saw how I was looking at him and quickly fixed himself and clear his throat.
'Yea, that's what I thought' I think to myself as he sits up straight.
"Sorry Duchess, I will give you a short report back on the situation.
At the start of the party there was an attack that hit the ball room, your brother saw the attack coming and acted immediately but it was to late. The Count is fine.
Even though he couldn't stop the attack he still stop it from causing large scale damage.
We found out the attack came from a dead dragon that a Ottoman control. We managed to fight and destroy it but the Ottoman himself disappeared." Sol finished off.
"Wait an Ottoman did this. I thought they kind-"
"Was extinct I know" He said finishing off my sentence as he look down.
"Honestly Duchess, I don't know what happened that night. One minute we drinking and laughing in a boring ball celebrating a soft handed king with his kiss ass subjects then next we fighting for our life's over a creature that can only be brought back by one clan. A clan my I add that was destroyed over 200 years ago."
"And my brother, where is he?" I breath out.
"The Counts is fine his with Cat helping the Emperor with the damage and the dead. They been taking turns on watching you." He said.
I breathed out knowing that my crazy brother and best friend Cat are alright. Then I stopped and replayed his sentence back in my head.
"What? Turn on watch?…Sol what are you talking about? how long have I been out?" I say out loud.
"1 week."
"1 week! 1 week!' I straight up on the bed quickly the feel the a heavy dizziness come over me as the room spins, I hold my head to steady myself and Sol quickly jumps up next to me to pull me back down on to the bed.
"Shit! Iay back Duch I'm going to call the doctor in." He said as he lays me down then rushes out the room leaving the one large white oak double doors ajar.
What the hell is happening? this has never happened in the past, that I know of and even if it did and I was in locked in by one of fathers amazing punishment I would have still heard about this. It would have been the biggest news in the kingdom.
What ever happened that night of the ball didn't happen before I'm sure of that. This means this is a new event meaning this new development could be happening cause I am changing my destiny or there is someone who is like me who is changing they owe destiny.
