Chapter 8 - 8- Crystal Golem

"Then let's move forward, if you feel more energy then we'd better go, we don't want the crystal golems to come here, well better said you don't want the crystal golems to come here."

Azrael heard Gabriel's warning but dismissed it himself. Gabriel's description reminded him of the stone golems in one of the space rifts on his home planet.

Those stone golems were not intelligent, they couldn't even talk, they were dumb and easy to deal with, even a child with no skills could run away from them as long as he didn't anger them.

"Hmm, they must be Golems similar to the ones I know, maybe they are some variant of the stone golems on my planet" Azrael chuckled.

"Aha ga ga gra ba" Azarel chuckled and made awkward movements as he laughed. "They are silly beings, even if they see a foot print of mine they won't follow me, they are silly as a little guy."

Azrael walked away from the place his laughter echoed in the place, he didn't stop laughing no matter how hard Gabriel tried to stop him. After all making fun of someone was in a way a sin only of a small rank, but it was still a sin which she could not allow Azrael to commit.

As her responsibility she had to educate him, well, re-educate him so that his values would be much better than the current ones and he would be a better example to follow.

As they walked away, a large man being walked on all fours like a gorilla, his body was smooth with that of a statue, but in some places cracks could be seen, but these cracks were kept on the inner parts of his body and were not cracks on the surface of his body, his crystalline body was of a dark purple hue. His face was round, and had a serious expression and there were two large hollow holes where there were two balls of energy rays that functioned as eyes.

It was a crystal golem or rather a crystal spirit. Although they are similar, they are totally different, especially with regard to intelligence.

They are called Crystal Golem because they are similar to the golems but they are not similar if they are compared, you might think that the reason for their differences is because of the development that the species had on the planet. But it is not so, they are not the same species nor do they have any similarity between the two.

Spirits are present on all planets, they are distant and indifferent beings. Each one of a different element, sometimes the planet does not have to be of a specific element to find an elemental spirit.

In all the known universe nobody knows the origin of these beings, the only thing that is known is that they are as old as many of the oldest planets.

In addition on the planets newly born in the last millions of years, these spirits have not appeared on these planets.

So that leaves a lot more ignites for all the great minds of the universe.

The golem looked at the two footprints without much interest but when his eyes fell on the footprints, they began to glow. A realistic projection manifested, in it stood Azrael all alone with no one else.

The Crystal spirit, or the Crystal Golem, looked at the projection with annoyance. He could understand it perfectly, he knew they were making fun of him. The silly mimicry as if it were a monkey, maybe he did not understand it but he knew that this silly mimicry was a way to make fun of him.

Besides, the being of flesh that was projected called him Crystal Golem.

This planet may not have life now but that was not always so, here long ago there were some civilizations. All of them called him Crystal Golem, so he knew it was him.

"Little guy, me, no, you, be little guy" growled the Crystal Golem as he slapped his big strong hand.

With anger in his body, his two electrifying purple eyes flashed brightly and following the body's footsteps he moved so fast that the wind shifted in his wake and his great weight shattered the crystalline ground.

His single fist shattered Azrael's footsteps and his body, which was 3 times taller than a human's, shattered Azrael's hologram. His body advanced with great speed and without stopping he advanced with a face full of anger.

In the distance Gabriel stopped immediately while Azrael continued walking without stopping.

Azrael was focused on finishing his journey and reaching the new destination.

"I can't stand these cookies anymore, they don't taste like anything. I'd rather eat dirt than these tasteless, hard, dry things" Azrael said as the round ball like cookie was bitten with difficulty by his teeth.

'Bad thank you' Gabriel grumbled at Azrael's comment as he looked off into the distance, many many miles away Gabriel could see the Great golem approaching them with firm, strong footsteps.

'It will be a good test, as long as he doesn't try to kill him that I won't intervene yes, this will be a good punishment, sinner' Gabriel thought as he smiled.

Azrael's journey was getting closer and closer to an end.

"Why is it called a crystal cemetery? I didn't see any dead or anything like that" Azrael asked.

Azrael has been healing the crystal graveyard for many days and nights without rest. Thanks to the cookies that work as energizer he doesn't need to sleep very often, even though the reserves of those cookies are limited and he can only consume a maximum of 3, which gives him 3 days without sleep.

It was a surprise that Gabriel gave him this without even asking for it, the best part is that they taste horrible.

That they taste horrible may sound bad, but when you have been consuming something tasteless for days and wanting to try something, that bitter taste like medicine becomes sweet as heaven. The cookies had a similar appearance to the ones Gabriel had given him to eat before, they were round cookies like a small pingpong ball, these had an unusual color, they were a dark black color but in the light they reflected an orange light.

"The crystal cemetery, as it says it is a cemetery."

"Excuse me miss obvious, what I'm asking is why I didn't see any body or grave in the whole place".

Gabriel's expression turned black at Azrael's comment but she did nothing and decided to continue explaining so that Azarel would not continue insulting her.

"It's not a graveyard like you think it is."

"This planet used to have a lot of life or so it is supposed, before even the angels came here it is believed that both the desert region and the crystal region had their own civilizations." Gabriel closed his eyes.

"Don't get me imagining and not answering, just keep answering Wikipedia girl."

Gabriel looked at Azrael with a strong anger in her eyes, but gave two heavy sighs as she relaxed and murmured.

"You can't punish him, you can't punish him... hell what's a Wikipedia?"

Azrael ignored her and looked to the front there was nothing he could think of, the place was empty.

'They died, all of them? How did they die to leave no trace even of their own history. They only left these elemental spirits that Gabriel told me, they left them then, I don't think so because Gabriel doesn't know the origin of these spirits so maybe they don't know either".

Victor kept on walking until a notification came to him

|You have passed through the crystal graveyard, raise your eyes and appreciate the tree of hope! |

Azrael looked up and could see what the system was referring to.

In front of him a great deep well of several kilometers stretched out and there a large tree stood in front of him. The tree was beautiful, of a pure and cold blue tone, its eyes were sharp as small ice floes, but it was bigger than it looked at first sight.

It was about 10 meters long and about four meters thick.

But Azrael could not help but feel strange looking at it, seeing it made him feel found. He didn't know if that was hope because he didn't know it or maybe he knew it a long time ago but he himself had forgotten it as well as many other things.

And at the top of that tree there was still a red space crack...

"Shit I'm going to get knocked out again, aren't I?" Azrael sighed before he jumped and his feet slid down the crystal slope, even though some of them were digging into his feet. Now his feet were much stronger than before thanks to his acquired skill.

| The Pilgrim's Path|

Azrael's feet glowed red and they became even stronger making the shattering crystals graze his skin but not sink into his flesh.

"Come on I'm tired of this place already."

Azrael moved nimbly avoiding not to fall despite still carrying many things in hand such as, the sand pots, the cards that were now stored in the pot, not to mention the small table which was not removable. Not to mention the weight of the chains, which added a great deal of extra weight.

Azrael would like to admit that in the last few weeks, he has gained a muscular body, one that he never had even when he was a kid and had to fight for food. Because even though it didn't look like it he had to use his whole body to support the weight he was carrying he also had a good diet even though you would think that because of the rare cookies he consumed.

"here I leave you see you at the portal, I advise you to hurry" said Gabriel appearing at her side at the same time he flapped his two pairs of wings vigorously as he walked away.

Azrael sees her with a strange look, he even thought about escaping but somehow he felt he would regret it more if he tried than not trying. So he preferred to go ahead carefully.

At the same time he decided to look at his status window which he had not seen complete for a long time.
