The court room sat in silence as the prosecutor for this case grinned while glancing at the clock. The lawyer assigned to Jace Hex, a Sima that survived the recent purge, shifted nervously in his seat and dabbed his head with a handkerchief.
"I think we can start this off. Since he has not appeared we can assume that he is not going to show up." The prosecutor stood up with a grin. "Let's just get this over with."
"What! No! We cannot. He was given until seven and he still has a few minutes left." The sima Lawyer insisted. "You cannot start the trial without his presence. Especially since it was the courts who were bringing him here." He looked at the group of judges. Some of which flinched and looked away. Likely already aware that there was an issue with bridging him here.
