It was on a scale that James could barely understand, a scale he never even thought about before, something he had never seen in any movie, never read in any documentary or book, and it all was in front of him in a way that felt unreal and real at the same time.
Because what Camelo said was clear, yes, it was clear and easy to understand, but the meaning behind it was so much bigger, so heavy, something that was simply too much to even try to accept, too much to even think about what a drug lord could truly reach, and he said it all so openly like it was the most normal thing in the world for him.
Camelo went far past anything anyone ever imagined, and he really did it… but he forgot to mention the one thing that would have made the whole story a tiny bit more acceptable, not good but at least something you could listen to without your mind falling apart.
