There was a man who was a habitual drinker. In the evening, he would reach the liquor shop and drink lots of alcohol.
One day he drank too much alcohol that he did not have full consciousness while waking. He had brought a lantern with him.
He took it and walked towards his house. There was pitch-black darkness on his way. He tried to switch on the lantern but when it did not give any light, he cursed it.
When he reached his home, he threw his lantern, went inside his house and shop coming towards him holding the lantern in his hand.
He was confused how that lantern was in his hand. He came to him and said, "Sir, in the night you left your lantern and took my cage.
Here, take your lantern and return my cage,"
Hearing that, the man realized his mistake.
Being drunk, he had taken the cage instead of his lantern.
