With the hair no longer obscuring it, the girl's fair, delicate face was fully revealed to Astrid. Her usually light and agile blue eyes were now closed, and her long, curled eyelashes resembled butterfly wings or a pair of beautiful small brushes, with scattered specks of light caught within them.
