The reporters immediately crowded them and Yu Libei tried to shield him but Fu Ling stopped him.
When the reporters notices that he didn't try to slip away, they started spitting out questions
"Fu Ling is it true that you are responsible for Mr Gu's accident?"
"Are the rumours that he got injured while taking your car true?"
"Did you deliberately get close to him in order to control Gu group?"
"Mr Gu's condition is critical is it possible for him to wake up in this life?"
Fu Ling saw that the questions were getting more and more assured. He clicked his tongue in annoyance and coldly interrupted them
"I'll answer three questions. Think carefully before you speak."
The atmosphere suddenly calmed down and the reporters glanced at each other. A young girl at the back raised her hand
"Mr Fu I have a question "
Fu Ling nodded
"Go ahead"
The girl cleared her throat
"There is a lot of speculation online as to the cause of Mr Gu's accident and who the accident was directed at as well his current condition could you please tell us more about it?"
Fu Ling thought in his heart that she had already asked three questions but still answered
"The cause hasn't been determined yet. He was injured while using my car but whether it was directed at me or him is still left to be discovered. As for his current condition, it's still under observation."
Another reporter jumped out
"Mr Fu is it true that Mr Gu's contract with Hope has something to do with you?"
Everyone looked at the reporter like looking at a fool. Fu Ling was a well known useless person how could he have anything to do with Hope?
Fu Ling narrowed his eyes slightly
"Gu Yunnain is an outstanding businesses man and so is the CEO of hope. If there's an opportunity to cooperate that will benefit both parties what does that have to do with me?"
A third reporter was about to speak but someone pushed him backwards and spoke sharply
"Fu Ling it is said that Gu Yunnain gave you the power of attorney and now you can fully represent him does this show how loved brained he is or how scheming you are? Everyone knows you have no business talent yet he handed over such a large task to you is he trying to ruin Gu?"
The was another small uproar and the cameras started clicking rapidly. This was big news.
Fu Ling's eyes turned cold and he spoke word by word
"Gu Yunnain was able to drag Gu corporation back from the brink of bankruptcy which is something most of your here can't even dream of doing. You're not in the position to comment on his actions."
The man froze probably not expecting him to respond in such a straightforward manner. He opened his mouth to say something but Fu Ling started walking away
"Three questions are up "
For some reason they clearly had the advantage in numbers but the reporters weren't able to follow or stop him from leaving. They could only watch helplessly as he got into the car and drove away.
On the bright side they did get some news even though most of what he said was the same as not saying anything it was better for it to come directly from his mouth.
Yu Libei drove Fu Ling back to the hospital and went off to take care of his own affairs.
Fu Ling sat in the ward quietly and there was only the sound of the rhythmic tapping on the keyboard.
He obtained evidence of Fu Haoming's connivance with that man to tamper with his car along with the surveillance from home.
They probably didn't expect that he would install hidden cameras as that part happened to be a blind side. The man acted cleanly but the evidence was conclusive.
He directly sent everything to the police and closed his laptop. As for Gu Heng, he didn't have the right to act on that person without Gu Yunnain's nod of approval.
He also sent anonymous messages to several news agencies he knew. Before long news of Fu Haoming's arrest had spread.
People didn't need to be given the full detail, just a few pieces and they would connect the dots themselves.
Taking into consideration the previous bad blood between Fu Ling and Fu Haoming and the fact that the car belonged to Fu Ling, everyone concluded Fu Haoming was trying to harm Fu Ling but unexpectedly Gu Yunnain would be the one to take his car and suffer the disaster.
Apart from that, there were still alot of discordant voices telling him to give up the right to be Gu Yunnain's attorney-in-fact. They claimed to be helpful and doing it for his good but they were clearly gloating.
Fu Haoming couldn't understand how things had come to this. It was clearly a full proof plan what went wrong? How was Fu Ling able to escape? He didn't know what was happening so he could only pretend to be oblivious but the evidence slapped him in the face. In addition his accomplice confessed.
The man actually had a crush on Gu Yunnain but didn't know how to express himself and could only watch as Fu Ling and Gu Yunnain became a couple. He didn't think he was any worse than Fu Ling so he expressed his intention shyly to Gu Yunnain only to be treated coldly. He felt that if Fu Ling hadn't come between them he would have been able to catch up with Gu Yunnain so when Fu Haoming came to him to help tamper with Fu Ling's car, he agreed without hesitation. He had always had a weak sense of presence and people hardly notice him so he knew it would be easy.
Unexpectedly the one who got hurt wasn't Fu Ling but Gu Yunnain. He angrily confronted Fu Haoming and even thought it was an accident but Fu Haoming's attitude made him realize Gu Yunnain was the target from the start. He wanted to turn himself in but he didn't have any evidence. When he got arrested and heard Fu Haoming was also there, he actually felt a sense of relief.
These things had nothing to do with Fu Ling anymore. He stood by Gu Yunnain's bed and used his fingertips to trace his face gently.
