Inside the ship:
Forty minutes later;
*Ring...*
[Arrival. Block 900, Sector 3, Upper district]
"Arrival... Block 900, Sector 3, Upper district."
[Arrival. Block 900, Sector 3, Upper district]
"Arrival... Block 900, sector 3 Upper district."
A repeated mechanical voice and a bold flashing message displayed on all four chameleon glass walls followed by a fairly loud ringing sound that took Skylar and Starboy by surprise.
In response, Starboy rose from the bed and looked at the direction of Skylar who is sitting on the chair with his back to him.
"Big bro we have arrived?" He Informed him.
"Okay." Replying, Skylar raised his head. Then he put his glyph mobile in his pocket and starts stretching his arms.
...
Four minutes later; the two exits the flying crib and paused, with the dock thier ship landed close-contact on, to their back.
Done looking from people to people, who are flocking from the dock to who knows where, Skylar turned his focus to Starboy beside him.
"So where to?" He questioned.
"Big bro, we'll get a ticket for a fayor going to kitty land, and we go to the fayor square to board it. We can get the ticket at the waiting area, or get it on our mobile, but it will cost more?" Starboy replied. And Skylar reacting to his reply that suggested he make a decision, tilt his head—processing it and then formulating a decision in his mind.
"Let's get the ticket on our phone and go straight to the fayor square." Skylar decided. "The fayor square is where those landing platforms are right?" He questioned.
"Yes, big bro. Its where the fayors lands and take off." Starboy nodded, answering.
...
After the two got their ticket, they boarded a private fayor that took them from the Sky terminal to their destination—kitty land, few minutes later.
...
Getting down from the private fayor that look like a power boat, with a frame made of purple wood and front screen made of chameleon glass, the two stood on a public landing platform the departing fayor landed close-contact on.
"T's really fucking huge." Skylar blurted, attracting the attention of a few people next to the landing platform.
What reflects in his eyes is—a little more than 1400 meters tall and 2400 meters wide, twelve floor circular building that looks identical to a colosseum in both form and shape to an observer like them outside of it. Futhermore, the super-tall building structural frame, has exotic purple flower vine trained on the exterior of its structural frame made of glossy white wood of the best quality, complementing its otherworldly grandeur, adding to its beauty. And where the arch openings should be as in a colosseum, they have chameleon glass for walls, sealing them, completing it, except for the one hundred meter tall arch entrance on the ground floor that they are facing and that leads inside it.
"Big bro... this is not that big compared to some faction building, you know right?" Starboy standing beside Skylar questioned. Then the two at the same time climbed down from the two steps of the landing platform that circles around it, stepping feet on the immaculate lawn of pastel purple grass that carpets the whole ground as the eye can see.
"I wasn't surprised about its relative size. I was surprised because I think it is too big for an establishment of its nature. You know, its not like the men coming here for thier service stay here forever. And I think it's not the only establishment of its kind right?" Questioning, Skylar glanced at Starboy beside him. He continued, "So I think their customers shouldn't be all the people like us in lavender... some should be going to other places elsewhere for their fun... then there is no reason for it to be this big; the customers they receive per day shouldn't be that much, I guess."
"Hahaha..." Starboy laughed at Skylar's conclusion. He removed his newsie cap revealing his hair styled in a loc fade.
Meanwhile, with the bright and benign white rays of light from beyond lighting up the whole safe zone—the building and them included; the two didn't stop walking towards the wide arched entrance of the building, just like few other men on feet coming from their private owned sky vehicles and me-fayor, around them.
"Big bro, I hate to break it to you, but you are very wrong. The thing is... they are even considering expanding it by like ten times. You will see when we enter." Starboy smiled. He put back his newsie cap on his head.
"Oh, I am looking forward to it." Skylar responded and also smiled. Then like the two agreed, at a speed a fraction of a bullet speed, they starts sprinting like they are being carried by the wind towards the entrance of kitty land building in front of them.
On thier path, they weaved past only one pot-bellied man. And a moment later, they reached the entrance of the building, coming face to face with two security personnels in combat outfit—black combat suits, black combat boots, black balaclava and sci-fi looking googles on their head—with a sci-fi looking gun like the one Marianna's friend used the day before in their hands and also held by a belt that hung around their necks.
"Lord Star! the sun is still up! Its surprising seeing you at this hour?"
One of the two security personnel, the one in the lead, seeming like Starboy acquitance, addressed him warmly.
This brat, is really a regular here. At his age, what is trying to achieve? Skylar thought, chuckling inwardly.
"Commodore... I'm actually not here for fun... we are here to see if we can do something about that bastard. Hehehe..." Starboy replied, grinning.
"Oh, I understand." The man—commodore, nodded his head and turn his face to look at Skylar beside Starboy in a fairly sober manner.
"Esteemed Sir, welcome to kitty land." He addressed Skylar, bowing his head a little.
"Please go in sirs." Together with the other security man behind him, they moved away from Skylar and Starboy path, giving them access to the tunnel the 100 meters wide arched entrance leads to.
"See you later, commodore." Starboy said his farewell to the man—commodore, and taking the lead, he entered the tunnel ahead of Skylar.
"See you later, Lord Star." The man—commodore, returned the farewell, while keenly watching Skylar who is following behind Starboy.
...
Walking along the hundred meter wide tunnel passage made of white glossy wood, with erotic and naked women figure carved on them; Skylar caught sight of two security personnels bundling out a man above three meters tall like they are dragging out a dirty rag, while the man beg like a pig.
"Abbas... there are players among these security people, right?" He questioned, whilst changing is view, looking from the dramatic tall man being dragged to an erotic carved statue of a naked woman with body type like that of aphrodite, a statue which is one of many large carved wooden erotic statues lining both sides of the tunnel.
"Big bro, there is no way." Abbas shook his head. "Have you forgotten, players can't hold any job whatsoever outside there faction territory?"
"Oh! you are right. I have really forgotten." Eyes widening in realization, Skylar replied. "But wait... what I really want to know is, how the security guys handle a player causung trouble—I'm sure, players are significantly stronger than users?"
"Hehe..." Starboy chuckled, shaking his head. "Big bro, most player won't dare cause trouble."
"There is a tower rule that under any circumstance shall a player attack a user within a safe zone. Even if a user attack a player first, the player according to the tower rules must never attack in retaliation or self defense, but you can protect yourself, just don't attack. And its not like the tower won't punish the user if there was no reasonable cause for the attack... the player might even be compensated if there is a real damage."
"So, as long as a player really cause trouble in a territory govern by a user—giving the security there a reason to attack, and knowing the players won't likely retaliate because of the rules, they usually attack the player without any fear."
"And if the player really does retaliate—something a crazy player will do... they also welcome it, since the money they will later get for compensation is enough to last them for a very long time without having to work during that time."
"There are even some users that intentionally goad players into attacking them because of the compensation money; they think at worst, they will just starfall if they are attacked and will return after four days, becoming super rich, easy money..."
"And another thing! Players that kill a user in addition to paying a compensation, will be banned indefinitely from all safe zones, and if a player in any form damage a user property or tower property, they will have to pay both a fine and compensation, and the money is not small... its like four times the cost of the damage, savage right?"
Concluded his lengthy talk that already has Skylar totally confused, Starboy glanced at Skylar, seeking his response.
Really totally confused, thus shaking his head, Skylar responded, "I don't get it? Is it that, one... you can't attack users, but if you do, and the attack does not lead to the user's death—which will normally get you banished from all safe zones, you will only pay them a compensation. And, two... you can't damage a user and tower property and if you do, you will pay both a huge fine and a compensation?"
Starboy nodded, "Yes big bro. And for the case of a player killing a user, which is classified as homicide or manslaughter, and also the case of rape and torture—the safe zone three taboos... the ban is not really indefinite— it depends on many factors... but at the least, it is one year, and the player will still pay compensation—a huge one."
"But for the case of property damage—vandalism... the player will pay both compensation for the damage and a separate fine to the tower for constituting nuisance. And its becase of the two separate payment that it seems the punishment for property damage is sometimes harsher than the punishment for an assault, to some players."
"But depending on the severity of the assault, the compensation we are asked to pay might be outrageous even for top players."
Meanwhile, the two reached closed to the end of the tunnel, where one could already feel the sultry atmosphere beyond it—the rich smell of womanly fragrance, a temperature higher than average, alluring giggles and laughs, shameless and obscene banter, and on top of it all, a hypnotic gentle light with sway that synchronize with an imperceptible background music only few with sharp hearing can pick up.
Then pausing, Skylar turned to Starboy who also paused.
"What if I accidentally attack a user, will it count as an assault?" Skylar questioned.
"Yes, totally." Starboy nodded, readjusting the newsie cap on his head. "As long as an attack that hits a user originate from a player—intentional or unintentional... if the user demands compensation from that player through the tower... the player must pay. The tower doesn't care about the story behind the hit."
"Tch..." Skylar sniggered. "What if I attack a user somewhere where there is no witness? How will they know I did it? Its not like they will just randomly believe the word of any user, right?"
"Hehe hehe..." Starboy smiled amusedly. "Big bro have you not heard the tower sees everywhere?"
Skylar tilts his head a bit, his eyes squinted. "You mean the tower can really see every of our action?"
"At least in the safe zones, certainly." Starboy nodded firmly. "But in the wild, no one really knows the extent of what they see. And for the case of a player secretly harming a user inside a safe zone... what the user have to do is as usual... report to the tower."
"And after the tower confirm the claim to be true—they will review the clip of the incident... they will then message the player and tell him the amount of compensation he has to pay. They will even attach the clip of what he did to the message. There is no way he can deny it."
"Mmm... They sure are thorough."
Thoughts on his mind and fingers of his right hand under the chin, Skylar concluded. Then the two resume their casual march, approaching the interior of kitty land—a place where womanly voices of temptation and feminine fragrance of allure is oozing from, attracting and exciting all men in the vicinity, them included.
