Chapter 130 - Navigators Shared View

Skylar thought the middle-aged stunning woman should have gone ahead in trying to recruit him instead of trying to invite him, which she on the other hand concluded is the next best thing. So equalizing her attempt to a lack of strong will, he rejected her invitation, despite her manners and goodwill.

Anyways, next, he pointed at a short and stout deep dark man with a full shaggy beard, dressed in leather armor with a wooden shield on his back.

"You?"

Panicked and disoriented, the man looked around like he is seeking help from the others. "S-S-S-S-Sir me?" He stuttered.

"Kanga... just tell them what your guild does like you are talking to Great lady Awena."

A voice came from behind Kanga, giving him a direction and making him boldly walked towards Skylar as the other gave him space.

Kanga stood before Skylar and gave a deep bow. "Great Lady, what we do in our guild is raid and cripple dark factions. We also help factions that are in conflict settle their fight?"

At Kanga's words delivered proudly with a somewhat very deep voice and a firm tone, Skylar chuckled.

"Okay." He responded. Then he pointed at a seven meter tall dark-skinned and white-haired teenage-looking beauty with a pair of black horn like that of a goat on her head, dressed in a biege short tight and a matching tank top that fit snugly to her super fit and bountifully endowed curvy figure.

"You?" He projected his voice.

["Big bro, she is another one?"]

["Yes, she has great potential to become legendary, and her growth potential might be crazy too."] Skylar replied Starboy transmission.

Meanwhile, the seven meter tall beauty picked up her giant hammer beside her, Skylar and everyone watching her, surprised or confused by her resonse. Then suddenly after infusing and cloaking it with earth elemental energy, making it vibrate intensely and shine with a low hum, she took two steps forward, everyone scurrying to make way for her, and instantly swung it right straight at Skylar on the head, not causing a ripple in the slightest, but a loud sound like that of a gong and a bright flash of light that dazzled everyone—save for Starboy and one of the three new people the steward welcomed into the antechamber, followed.

Not bad... Skylar chuckled within the receding flash of light.

With one hand raised, the giant hammer everyone except Starboy believed should at least make contact with its target, paused—suspended a few inches from Skylar's open palm, unable to move a millimeter further.

While the the giant hammer tries to overcome the gentle natural force stopping it—with white and golden fierce lightning dancing between it and the palm—the brown eyes of the seven meter tall beauty responsible for this met Skylar's eyes below her from his raised masked face. And as a smile like that of a child blossomed on her face, she opened her apricot lips and projected her voice for Skylar to hear clearly and rightly.

"Great lord, this is what we do in our faction—Hellbringer... we fight. Do you like it?"

"*Chuckling* Maybe, but I don't hate it." Skylar replied with a voice projection of his own. Then like the natural force from his palm suddenly multiplied many times, the giant hammer recoiled, swinging oppositely the direction it came from—going backwards above the head of the giant teenage beauty from Hellbringer with a bit greater force and catching her off guard as her eyes widened with shock in a split second before she was launched like a canon ball *Swish* and spinning along with her hammer, she crashed into the adorned wall of the antechamber far at the back *Crash*

"You." Skylar, ignoring the giant teenage beauty fate; pointed at a stunning lady—dressed in a bikini top, a boot cut jeans and a straw hat—a lady who is just recovering from the shock of the giant teenage beauty crash like the others and is also the person that yelled earlier, interrupting the dark-skinned middle-aged man from Africa unite when Skylar was swarmed.

After quickly composing herself; she came forward and gave a humble bow before speaking up. "Great lord... My name is Oliva. I am from One House, a small but powerful faction. Our long-term goal is to become a presence able to freely travel the wild without fear, and If this aligns with your goal Great lord, you are welcome to join us."

Her words were concise. Then she bowed humbly a second time, not expecting a reply from Skylar and moved back to her position.

Looking at her, Skylar smiled warmly behind is mask.

She is not bad; just like what I would say in her position.

But Its a pity I have already made plans, if not... they would have been the ideal faction for me to join and use, since our goals truly align to a degree...

He nodded at her, showing a positive reaction and a warm reception that made her brightened up and made others look at her enviously. Then proceeding, he turned to the last person—the dark-skinned middle-aged man from Africa unite—who already is looking at Skylar with a sober and humble expression, since he already anticipated he is next, knowing he is last of the ten that raised their hands.

"You said your faction is like a family." Skylar inquired.

"Yes Great lord." He gave a bow. "Our faction is like a society that preserve and promote our respective cultures and traditions. We support one another like brothers, we move forward as a unit and we retreat as a unit, harm to one of us is harm to all of us..."

Hmm a faction of people glued together by common value. Interesting... Skylar smiled and nodded, an action the dark-skinned middle-aged man took as a positive sign, making him smile broadly and pose proudly with his shoulder high while glancing at the others that couldn't help but snicker at him.

Seeing this, Skylar couldn't help but chuckle, he sent Starboy right beside him a message via voice transmission.

["Abbas, that guy is definitely from your place? Look how he is doing like a rooster."]

["Yes big bro, I can see that. The idiot thinks you think very highly of their faction."] Starboy replied, he made eye contact with the dark-skinned middle-aged man and winked at him, making him become restless and confused as he has no understanding of what the winks stands for, but nonetheless, he composed himself and like the others, he waits for Skylar's judgment and choice.

["Abbas, wait... How long till the ship takes off?"] Skylar sent another message via voice transmission, sounding urgent.

After looking around the room at the busy stewards helping some people among the new crowd watching them, into the interior of the ship behind the antechamber, Starboy responded similarly.

["Big bro, maybe in the next five minute."]

That's still enough time... Hearing this, Skylar appeared relieved and returned his focus to the factions several scouts waiting for his judgement.

He nodded, "I've heard you all. So I will go for now and think about which faction is more suitable for me... so whatever faction I chose, should see me anytime soon. Good day."

As Skylar concludes abruptly—without waiting for a response or reply from the scouts, leaving them stunned—he immediately turned and starts going towards one of the stewards on his left with his hands in his pants pocket and head raised high confidently, and with Starboy who is grinning cheekily following behind him.

"Steward? floor 8, cabin 2?" He approached the steward in his purple uniform who then gave him a polite bow and with a smile pointed to a door a bit far in front of them and simultaneously the third door on the left side of the antechamber.

"Here, respected sir. Second door to the left."

"Thank you." Skylar nodded approvingly at the steward, making the steward smile happily and give him another polite bow.

A moment later, Skylar and Starboy reached the door the steward pointed to, opened it and entered into the elevator behind it, which then starts going up after it closed, taking them to floor eight.

A moment later, the two got down from the elevator, stepped foot on the intersection of an L shaped corridor—with one going to their right and the other in front of them leading forward—and they paused.

"Second door to the left?" Skylar muttered, putting a finger below his chin after slightly lowering his head as he pondered absentmindedly.

A second later, with a sudden realization dawning on him, he smiled and muttered, "That's straight and on the left."

Then with Starboy following behind, he continued forward on the dimly lit corridor of chameleon glass wall adjusted black, not taking a turn, until they reached the second outlined double door to their left which they then turn to face, being their destination.

"Here, big bro."

Starboy pointed at the outlined middle line of the double door on the chameleon glass wall with figure 2 displayed on top of it. And Skylar undetstanding his message placed his hand there.

*Click* Then after a click sound, the door opened wide inward, revealing their cabin—cabin 2 on the eight floor of the ship. And not delaying, the two entered the room revealed to them, and as the chameleon glass door close behind them, Skylar was not surprised by the dimension of the room that conformed to the minimum standard for the smallest chamber allowed in the first ring of any safe zone.

"Hmm..." Not bad... Looking around, he could spot a very large luxurious bed in white sheets at one corner of the room, a large table and a chair to its side, close to the opposite wall; four evenly spaced floating lamps suspended below the chameleon glass ceiling; and a full length mirror, a glass wardrobe and a fridge-looking object at one corner.

"This place is not bad. Basic... I like it." Skylar nodded his head. He took a look at the chameleon glass wall that has been adjusted black and is a little transparent.

However, as he was about to proceed further, it suddenly appeared like the room and ship vanished, except for the contents of the room. It was like they are standing mid air, as they could now totally see outside of the room—everything happening in the departure zone below—like they were never in a ship in the first place or the ship was a mirage—conclusions Skylar denied, since he could still feel the breath of the ship.

Another strange gimmick? He wondered.

"Big bro, its a shared view of the ship surroundings. Its being fed directly from the control room at floor zero. What we see here is a live display of what the navigators also see. You know they have to be able to see three sixty degree outside the ship if they want to navigate successfully?..."

Skylar looked at the direction the voice came from. He saw Starboy standing next to the table and holding in his hand the device he judged to be a remote control responsible for the change in the display of the chameleon glass surfaces of the room.

"I understand." Skylar responded. In a split second, like he disappeared and appeared, he crossed the distance about fifty meters between him and Starboy, standing next to him, in front of the glossy white wooden table.

Starboy passed him the remote control that is similar to a glyph mobile in form and he retreated, leaving him there.

Meanwhile, as seen from a spectator standing on the Sky terminal ground somewhere close to the front docks, the drawbridge of the freely suspended ship Skylar and Starboy is inside, closed shut, and the glass surface of the dock its suspended on, then displayed green and white stripes pattern, signifying the ship is about to depart and no further entry is possible.

A moment later, the ship—3600 meter long and 2700 meters wide at its square base—slowly and quietly starts to rise. And after reaching a point high above the dock which is the midway point of the Sky terminal ground and its 200 kilometer tall roof—a spherical force-field barrier starts enveloping it, as it slowly starts to pick up speed, heading forward and towards the force field barrier of the Sky terminal at its curved edge that leads out of it.

Meanwhile, inside the ship;
