Rayleigh opened his eyes and saw a new null entity standing where Bram was. The null entity looked around and at its new body. Rayleigh noticed that it looked like it was already refined, maybe because it was Bram. The null entity was wearing a black half-circle cape, a white button shirt with the top two buttons undone, and black tuxedo pants. He had streaks of white scattered throughout his hair, which was combed back.
"I seem to have been made properly, guess I won't need to be refined just yet."
Rayleigh was taken aback; he didn't know that null entities could talk.
"You can talk!"
"It appears so."
Rayleigh turned to Uldess.
"Can all null entities talk?"
"Yes, but some decide that there is no need for them to talk."
Veygra stepped forward; he seemed to have a glimpse of hope in his eyes.
"Do you remember who you are, master?"
Vlad turned to face him and bowed his head.
"I am sorry, but though I do have Bram's memories, I can only view them as if I am looking at a video."
Veygra looked disappointed.
"I see."
Uldess was about to walk over and put his hand on his shoulder.
"It's fine, it is going to take some time, but I will get over it. I am just happy that he is finally happy again."
Rayleigh wanted to say something, but then he felt Agent coming back.
"Agent found something."
At that moment, Agent appeared at Rayleigh's side . Vlad stepped forward and put his hand out to Agent. Agent looked at it and then grabbed it with his own.
"Sir, if I may, I can tell you what Agent has found."
"How do you know what he found?"
"That handshake was not just a formality. We null entities can form telepathic links with each other."
Rayleigh was surprised to hear that Agent and Vlad could communicate.
"Agent has found the entrance to Migdranniun's domain."
Rayleigh was surprised at how calm he was when he heard this. He thought that he would be nervous and excited to get his mom back, but he had a feeling that he had a chance of actually beating Migdranniun.
"Where is it?"
"The entrance is located in a fashion studio called 'sin of fashion'."
Udless, who had been staring at Vlad, spoke up.
"We should think about our next steps carefully. Once we do find the entrance, then we should first see what the terrain is like, and then plan from that point onwards."
"That would be a good plan, but there is one thing you are forgetting."
"And what would that be, Vlad?"
"Ever since Goren was defeated, the void between the realms has become so thin that they have all collided and have merged."
Uldess looked shocked at hearing this.
"How has it gotten so bad? It's only been 15 years."
Rayleigh looked at Alex, who just shrugged. It seems that they both barely know anything.
"Uldess what are you talking about?"
"Well, Rayleigh, remember that I told you that your father was banished to the void realm? The void is like a wall that separates the different realms, and your father was the one to keep the walls up."
"And since he was defeated, I assume the 'walls' have fallen?"
"Not entirely master. You see the different realms are like pools of water inside different dams, and ever since your father was defeated the dam walls have been cracking and all the different realities have been fusing together."
Rayleigh still had one more question.
"So why are the realms fusing together in Migdranniun's domain?"
"We are not sure if Migdranniun's domain is the center of this mess, the entrance to his domain is just the part that was fused in with the others."
Alex stepped forward.
"Can we all just agree that we need to come up with a name for this place and also, let's just go, we have enough manpower to at least get Rayleigh's soul forged weapon."
"Alex is right, we can't just talk about this all day. Here is the plan: me, Alex and Rayleigh will go back to the hotel for the night and we will have both Agent and Vlad survey the area around the entrance of Migdranniun's domain. Veygra I am sorry but you are not suited for combat."
"It's fine, I never liked fighting anyway."
As they left Rayleigh turned around.
"Veygra, again I am so sorry."
"It's fine, really. Now I just need to find myself an apprentice."
Rayleigh nodded and walked out with Alex and Uldess.
