"Hello~ …." Brian answered the call from an unknown number, his voice devoid of any emotion.
"Long time~ …. Vampire Elder," A sultry voice chimed in. "Did you miss me?"
With just a few words, Brian could immediately tell who the caller was. His eyes dilated, then his whole demeanor turned cold as he asked, "How did you even get my number?"
"Ohhhooo~ … wrong question," she hummed, "Instead, you should ask, why am I calling you? Isn't it?" her tone playful.
"I don't have time for your games. If you have nothing to say~ …. I am hanging up," Brian had no intention of entertaining the person, even for a second.
"Always~ … in a hurry, tskkkk~ …. Apparently, I just saw a doppelganger of Vampire King's minion here~ …." She passed on the information.
"What did you say? Who is there?" Brain Tape screamed into his phone at the other party, his eyes a blazing red now.
