(Author's POV)
"What happened to her? Why did she faint all of a sudden?" Dion asked, his voice gravelly.
"The patient collapsed due to extreme stress, exhaustion and also lack of sleep. But rest assured, Mr. Everests. I have administered the medicine. She will be sleeping for a while," the doctor told him. "And~ …. as for the abrasions, I have bandaged the wounds on the patient's elbows. Make sure it doesn't come in contact with water, and remember to change it regularly."
Dion hummed in response; his eyes were glued to Myra's ghostly, pallid face. "You may take your leave," he uttered.
Taking his orders, the doctor retrieved his steps and walked out of the room, leaving only Dion and a sound asleep Myra alone. Dion sat on the bed, taking Myra's hand in his, his eyes never leaving her face.
