Flain's tail retracted back into his armor and the leader's red, bloodied body fell to the ground. He was at the edge of death; if Flain had left Wrapping of Death on a moment longer, he would have died.
The remaining three members of the group who had managed to free themselves from the ivy wanted to strike immediately, but Flain pressed his sword to the leader's throat.
"If you don't give me what I asked, I will kill him," he said without a hint of emotion.
The hunters glanced at one another nervously; they did not want to lose their leader.
"Sorry, leader," one hunter said, and cores and crystals began to spill from his spatial ring; the others followed suit.
Flain gathered it all into his inventory to make sure they wouldn't take it back, then looked at the leader.
"Now it's your turn. If you want to survive, join them," he said.
The leader's blood-smeared eyes turned hatefully to Flain. "F-Fuck yourself," he stammered.
