Nafu started to think Flain might be some kind of lunatic. "Hey, just so you know, if you kill me, my family won't forgive you, you'll be expelled from the academy, and the Empire of Light will see you as a threat," he said.
"That's great, makes it even more fun," Flain replied, his eyes widening.
'I've got a long life ahead of me and I don't need some psycho ending it. Going from Room 28 to 29 isn't that big of a deal,' Nafu thought to himself.
"How do I know you won't kill me in the official match?" he asked.
"My goal is to get your room. Once I have it, my level of excitement will be fulfilled enough," Flain answered.
"And what are you putting on the line?" Nafu asked.
"I think 45 Mana Crystals is fair," said Flain.
