Some of the young knights and squires were all surprised. For them, the Seven Great Knight Orders were all objects of worship; their feats and valor were something that they all grew up reading in books and talks.
Yet one of their high ranking Holy Knights was saying that a foreign knight order was stronger than some of their Seven Great Knight Orders.
It was only natural for these budding knights to be surprised after all, since their joining, they haven't been on too many expeditions outside the kingdom or even within it, so to speak.
Of course, in that regard, ninety percent of the crowd here was the same. They only know what little stories and poems that they heard from bards and passing merchants.
