His eyes were fixed on the giant bird's eyes. All four of them stared into his, and for a moment, the two remained frozen, the raging storm worsening around them.
The little monkey suddenly felt a freedom in his hand that wasn't there before. His ruan was… gone. As he reeled, he just barely managed to see it get swept into the storm and disappear into the snow.
