Percy was very much surprised after hearing this. He was aware of Cul. But he never thought that the brother of his Father will be present in this reality. He looked at Anna. Because when Anna got the Permission from her Father and Odin she was allowed to go in to the every section of Asgard's library.
Percy asked her through there mind link,' You did not find him. Did you?'
Anna said,' Are you out of your mind? If I had known about it then I would have told you before Percy. This is big very very big.'
Percy chukled and replied, ' Things are going to get interesting. '
Anna hummed in acknowledgement and replied,' Couldn't agree more.'
Loki asked,'' I never knew you had a brother, Father.''
And that is when Percy looked at the faces of his siblings. Like him they all are visibly surprised. Seeing Thor surprised was not surprising at all. Even though now that he has learnt his responsibility but still the Art of impassive face is far from him.
Loki has learn this art to the extreme. Some times he looks like a Child of Odin then Thor. But even Vidar who was almost always with an emotionless face looked surprised.
Tyr asked,'' Yes Father even I have never heard of him and even if You have a brother then why have not he visited us?''
Odin's face looked grim when he replied, '' Because I have sealed him.''
This time no one looked surprised. Because after Hela they are already aware that there father like to hide there problems. Thor asked in a voice that was more amused then surprised, '' Father how many more relatives have you sealed? Just tell us at once so we will not have to ask again.''
Percy can not stop the chuckle that came out of his mouth. Frigga shot him a look and he at once turn his head down. Then she turned her face toward Thor. She said, '' Your father is in so much tension and you are finding fun in this time.''
Thor was not much better then me. After that Anna asked,'' Father what is the reason you imprisoned him? You will not punish your brother for nothing. ''
Odin looked like he is seeing some painful memories from the past. He was silent for some time and then he replied, '' Cul is my older brother. But he was the God of Fear. The more fear he consume the more powerful he becomes.
Somewhere in his life he became a power hungry God. He started speeding fear not only in Asgard but also in the other nine realms to become more powerful. And he was going deep and deep into his power hungry life. At that time I was not present here but when I came back all the nine realms were infected by it. It happened so fast that I can not even understand what to do?''
Thor asked,'' How did he spread the fear into the nine realms so fast?''
Anna also supported this question. She asked,'' Yes what Thor is saying is truth. I means even if he would use the Armies of Asgard in the Nine realms to spread the fear still it would have taken a lot longer and this kind of news can not exactly be hidden. ''
Odin said,'' No he did not use the armies. Instead he created many cursed weapons infused with powers and put them in all the nine realms. Any one who took the weapon will be affected by the magic in it and slowly slowly that weapon will erode the mind of wielder and they will also become like a puppet. A puppet of Cul.
They will use the power provided by the weapon to spread the fear and that fear will be the source of more power for Cul. And that is how he becomes more and more powerful. ''
Perseus asked,'' Then?''
Odin said," When I came back to Odin and what I saw I did not like it. Not at all. I will not say that I was full of goodness that tme. But still what was happening was far beyond anything I would have liked. So I tried to stop it. But my brother was too far gone.
And in the A Fight was the only option. That's what happened. ''
Perseus completed, ''You won. He defeated. And you sealed him.''
Odin said," Yes.''
But one question is still there in Percy's mind. Percy asked,'' Father even though he is your brother but you have already defeated him once then why were you so out of focus when you found his energy.''
Odin stood up from his thrones. He came to Percy and said, '' My child since he is free now it will not be long before those cursed weapons will start to appeare on different realms.
I have seen the horror those weapons spread in the nine realms. I do not wish that you or any of you will ever have to witness what has happened. But it looks like that you all have to witness these circumstances. I just wish that they will not leave you in damage, my children.''
Thor said, ''Do not worry. We will not be affected by this small challenge. We are your children's after all.''
Odin said,'' I truly wish that you succeed my child.'' He was about to say something when he went silent. After some time he chukled.
Frigga asked,'' What happened?''
Odin sd,''It looks my all enemies will fight this war together.''
Frigga asked ,'' What?''
