Then Percy went towards Steve and his friends. The more he was coming towards them the more there heart rate was getting higher.
Percy stood in front of Steve and said, '' Although human but everyone of you showed bravery beyond expectations.''
Steve and his friends looked at each other. They do not know that if it is an appreciation or mockery. Percy chuckled and said ,'' I was not mocking you. I am truly impressed.''
Steve said,''Thank you.'' Steve struggled not knowing how to address him. Percy can see he has something to ask but do not know how to say. Percy asked,'' What do you want to ask? Do not worry if possible then I will answer.''
Steve exhaled a deep breath of relief. He did not know how to say it. But Diana intruptted them. She said," Can't you just read his mind Percy? ''
Listening this Steve and his friends were afraid. Being looked into the mind is not something they want to experience. There will be no secrets if anyone read there mind.
Percy said, '' Looking into someone's mind without there permission is not my style. And it is not the right way either. It will just make other person uncomfortable.''
Diana asked,'' But you have looked into my mind countless times.''
Percy said,'' Diana it's more about the way people grow up. You as an Amazon, A being of devine side feels nothing abnormal about it. For you this kind of things ment little. You do not even think about them.
But they are humans. They are born with all kinds of Ideology. Like personal space, privacy and Who knows what. So if I will see in his minds then it will only disgust him.''
Then he asked Steve,'' So tell me Steve what do you want to ask?''
Steve who listened his explanation was little relieved but still did not let his guard down. Percy can see it all but neither did he pointed it out nor did he got angry. He just waited for him to ask.
Steve asked,'' I wanted to know that now since Ares is dead then what about this war. It will end isn't it. Now these peoples will stop fighting.''
Percy said,'' Yes for now they will stop fighting. But not at once, it will take time. ''
Steve said," What do you mean for now?''
Perseus did not said anything for a while. And in the end he said," I Hate Ares. Because he encouraged this war. But he was right about one thing. He did put thoughts in the mind of humans but he did not force them to fight against each other.
The greed of humans have caused this. The greed to get more. And even though Ares is gone the greed is still there. And the end result can be any thing because of this. So do not stress yourself about this.''
And then Percy looked around. He said, '' This place looks like that an nuclear bomb was launch here.''
Charlie asked,'' What is Nuclear bomb?''
Percy said," One more step of humans towards destruction. ''
And then under the astonishing gaze of every one from the Steve's Side Percy repaired every thing. But it did not turned into what it was before. Instead it turned into a grass land with all kinds of flower that are present in the world.
Yes he changed the entire scenery of the place. Now there is a big castle in the middle of a large peice of land. The entire run way turned into an artificial lake. A very very beautiful artificial lake. And the land all around the castle turned into a big and beautiful garden with almost every kind of flowers that are possible to grow in this kind of weather.
After that Percy asked Diana,'' So how is it?''
Diana said," It is little beautiful. But why the change?''
Percy said, ''Just for the show. I like this place.''And then with other wave of his hand he changed the owner of this house and transferred it to the name of Company that his shadow has created.
And after that Percy teleported everyone in the hall of Castle that has turned into a very luxurious room. He asked,''What will you take? ''
Steve said,''After such a big victory a drink. '' his friends also nodded there head. And then suddenly a big mug of Drink appeared in there hands.
And he summoned Ice cream for himself and Diana. After That he asked them, '' What will you all do now? I mean war is coming to an end. Are you going to continue your carrier in the military or going to try something else.''
Steve said,'' I always wanted to serve my country so I will continue to do so.''
Charlie said,'' Well my condition was different when I joined the Military. For me I have joined the Military more out of necessity then Patriotism. Even now I do not know if I have any option or not.''
Sameer said, '' I have seen too much bloodshed for a life. After going home I am going to retire. Then We will see where the life takes us.''
Napi said," Same. Too many bodies.''
Perseus said, '' I do not what to say. But I can say that you will have my help. When you will get back to America you will see.''
And after that they all celebrated the entire night. After the celebration Perseus was standing on the Balcony of the castle. Diana came from behind and put her hand on his shoulder.
She said, ''I can not imagine what you are going through. As the God of Life this level of destruction and massacre is almost against your nature.
But I do not understand If it hurts you so much then why don't you stop it.''
Perseus said, '' You know why I do not interfere Diana. Humans fighting against Humans. That is there nature. And I can not interfere in it. If some God Attacked Humans then that is a different case. But here humans are killing humans. And that is why I can not interfere.''
