Chapter 11 - Starting new life as a Scammer (1)

As we exited the ceremony room, we were led to another room by a servant. Entering the room, there was an entire buffet of food. There were also tables that some of the heirs sat at. I, on the other hand, found a sofa I then sat with Alura sitting on my lap.

I watched as she got a bowl of grapes before she sat back into my lap.

Opening my mouth, I let her put a grape in my mouth before chewing on it.

Looking around, I noticed some of the heirs glaring at me with disgust.

Those guys were probably raised outside of the island. That being said, I could tell some of them were also jealous. I then noticed Quentin, who had a group of people surrounding him. I saw him glare at me, but I simply ignored him.

"Young Master Aaron, it's good to see you." Turning my gaze slightly, I saw a youth with dark blonde hair "My-"

"I'm not interested in guys," I replied flatly.

I watched as he froze before a disgusted look appeared on his face. He then quickly backed away. That made the rest of the heirs and servants hesitate to approach me. I didn't care after all the entire family was a fucking warzone right now.

Just remembering the schemes on schemes over schemes and over even more schemes than more schemes.

'Ugh, just thinking about them makes my head hurt'

However, more female servants started to approach me. I flirted with a few of them while I ignored Alura's angry grip.

I then watched on of the family servants call Quentin. I could tell he seemed panicked as he was led away with his own servant.

That wasn't surprising.

From what I heard, he was an arrogant bastard that did bully some of the illegitimate heirs.

'Eh he'll get over it'

Shrugging, I continued to flirt and grope the servants around me. After a bit, I heard a yell.

"Get the fuck out you useless waste!" Suddenly, a figure was thrown out of the room that Quentin entered

Slowly getting up, I noticed that the figure was Quentin. Seeing that I could see many of the people around Quentin were looking at him in confusion. Soon after, a servant girl ran toward him. However, she tripped a few times before she made it next to him.

Quentin then saw me.

Seeing that I was surrounded by female maids, I could tell that he was jealous "My, seems like your father didn't like your semi-player status," I commented

Quentin's eyes widened "how did you-"

But seeing my smile, he froze, realizing his mistake.

Glancing at the rest, I could see their faces change into disgust and regret.

Some even looked at me, and I could tell they were thinking of some sort of scheme. I then used my appraisal on the maid.

"Ah…" I let out a voice

However, I couldn't help it! I knew who that was. Not just that, I knew the family as well. It wasn't after the great cataclysm that 'that' family reappeared and shifted the balance of power.

'I knew they had agents all over the world, but I didn't expect them to have one in our family'

I also didn't remember that name. So if I had to guess, thanks to her bloodline, which was an (S) rank bloodline. She was probably used to breed some warriors for the family.

'Should I take her?'

That family was a nuisance without a doubt, but they were strong. And I needed strong allies if I wanted to do what I wanted. Just as I was thinking, a servant appeared in front of me.

"Young master Aaron," he said with a bow, "you have been called."

Nodding, I got up along with Alura, who was angry in my lap, "I'll be taking this girl as my personal servant."

The servant nodded before he led me to the door where 2 guards were standing. The doors opened, and the butler bowed while gesturing for us to enter the room. Smirking, I walked in while shamelessly putting my hands on Alura.

When the doors shut, I took my hands off of Alura and kneeled.

"Aaron Van Bismark, greets the patriarch and elders,"

Looking around, I saw that David had a red face and was glaring at me.

'Tsk, tsk, how ungrateful, I saved your son, you know,'

If I said that, though, David would probably cough up blood.

"You may stand," the old man in the chair, Gabriel said as he looked at the girl. While he was doing that, I noticed the seat beside him. It was empty.

'Where'd she go?'

"Who is this girl?"

Victor then stepped in, "This is the servant that I was telling you about, Father. Aaron took her, and it seems she was lucky."

The patriarch's face turned weird. "Huh? What about Toby?"

"I found him annoying," I said simply

Seeing that I saw the patriarch's face twitch before he let out a breath.

"Test the servant girl," he said while pinching his brows

Hearing that, I mentally clicked my tongue in annoyance.

'Petty fucker'

Nervously nodding, Alura walked past me. In the centre of the room was a rectangular panel that was on a stand.

She placed both of her hands on the panel.

Then, green runes started to light up before a teal system panel screen was projected into the room.

Seeing that I heard some of the elders gasp. Gabriel got up from his seat and appeared in front of Alura.

He was about to touch her, but I coughed.

Hearing that, Gabriel glared at me; however, before he could open his mouth, he remembered that she was technically my property. Or well will be.

Giving a reluctant look at Alura, he backed away before he sat back on his chair.

"What are you waiting for? We don't have all day! Hurry up!" David shouted

Rolling my eyes in annoyance, I then approached the panel. Using one of my skills, I quickly adjusted my stats.

Touching the panel, I watched as the same process happened.

[Notice: GAIA panel 0332 is trying to access status, Allow?]

Clicking yes, I watched as my "status" was displayed.

I could hear more gasps as people looked at "my status".

"Fi-five Order?"

"What is an Merchant Of Hermes? Anybody hear of that class before?"

"No but it must be very powerful if it has a name!"

Some of the elders started to talk; however, Gabriel laughed, "Amazing, Aaron, you do both me and your father proud."

Bowing, I couldn't help but hide my smirk.

'This illusion skill is the best.'
