"The puny human got caught by my little brother, the king of the flying pig, as humans call them, and received a lot of his feathers." Richard answered, setting aside his own pride.
He may not like the fact that he was being interrogated like this, but he understands that the fairy had to go extra measures because he was being a pain in the ass.
"Is that why her clothes are torn?" Lala asked, her voice timid and weak.
Richard didn't answer right away and could only stare at the wall, letting the vine curl tighter around his ankle.
"It may be the reason, but I can't be too sure." Richard stated with a frown. "When I got there, she was being carried by my little brother and it looked like they were on their way back to the city."
"Oh.." Lala murmured, her lips pursing. "Does this mean you didn't get into a fight with the other king beast?"
