"Oh my god!"
Jack's jaw nearly hit the floor.
The moment Lucy's armor fully materialized, his eyes widened in pure awe.
"Lucy… your armor is insane!"
Unlike Jack's [Source Plan: Thunder] armor, which had a rugged, battle-hardened aesthetic, Lucy's [Source Plan: Shadow] looked sleek, elegant, and dangerously sharp.
The material clung to her form like a second skin, flexible yet clearly reinforced.
Its dark, metallic sheen reflected the neon glow of the city behind her, while violet energy veins pulsed faintly across its surface, giving it a mysterious, almost ethereal quality.
Jack scratched his head, grinning.
"Damn, if all assassins looked this good, I might actually enjoy getting killed."
"Ahem."
David cleared his throat loudly, shooting Jack a glare.
Jack immediately straightened up.
"Uh— I mean, in a completely respectful, professional way, of course!"
David rolled his eyes.
"Right. Professional."
Lucy ignored both of them, flexing her fingers as she got a feel for the armor.
A strange weightlessness filled her body.
"It's… so light."
Curious, she crouched slightly—
And with just a small push—
She launched herself nearly two meters into the air!
Jack's eyes nearly popped out of his skull.
"Holy shit! Did you just—?!"
Lucy landed effortlessly, her boots barely making a sound as she touched the rooftop again.
She threw a few quick punches, testing her mobility.
Her arms sliced through the air like shadows, almost too fast for the eye to track.
Jack rubbed his eyes.
"Lucy… Lucy, what the hell?! That's not normal!"
He took a step back, still processing what he had just seen.
"That jump… your speed… You're almost as fast as fing Sandevistan users!"*
Unlike Jack's astonishment, David simply nodded.
"As expected."
Jack turned to him, eyes still wild.
"Expected?! Dude, she's practically teleporting! How is that normal?!"
David crossed his arms.
"The [Source Plan] armors aren't just high-end combat suits. They're designed to enhance a person's abilities based on the tech they're built from."
He glanced at Lucy's sleek, assassin-like armor.
"The original [Source Plan: Shadow] was based on a legendary assassin from Valoran—Akali.
"A master of stealth, speed, and deadly precision. Her entire combat style is built around mobility and burst attacks."
Jack blinked.
"So you're telling me Lucy basically just became a cyber-ninja?"
David smirked.
"More or less."
Lucy stretched her arms, feeling the suit's flexibility.
"Alright, enough talk. Let's see what this thing can really do."
David nodded and pulled a coin from his pocket.
He flipped it into the air.
"Lucy, hit this before it lands."
Her pupils shrank.
Her body lowered instinctively.
And then—
She disappeared.
For a brief second, all that remained was a faint shadow where she once stood.
Jack barely had time to react before—
Thwip!
A thin, razor-like wire shot out from Lucy's wrist—
And pierced the coin mid-air.
Zing!
The coin froze in place, completely still, impaled by the single-molecule thread.
Jack's breath caught in his throat.
"No way… no fing way…"*
Lucy landed gracefully, retracting the thread in one smooth motion.
She caught the pierced coin effortlessly and held it up, smirking.
"Not bad, right?"
Jack just stood there, dumbfounded.
David, on the other hand, was already analyzing her performance.
"Speed… flawless. Precision… perfect. Single-molecule thread? Faster than I expected."
He looked at Lucy, nodding.
"You're adapting to the suit faster than I thought."
Lucy twirled the coin between her fingers.
"It feels natural. Like it was made for me."
Jack finally snapped out of his shock, pointing at her.
"Hold on—what the hell was that thread thing?!"
Lucy held up her wrist, where the thin, almost invisible filament retracted back into her suit.
"This? It's a built-in assassination tool. A single-molecule filament—so sharp it can cut through reinforced steel."
Jack gulped.
"And you just shot that like a goddamn bullet?"
David smirked.
"That's the point."
Jack looked back at the coin, which now had a clean hole straight through its center.
"Jesus…"
Lucy spun the coin one last time before tossing it back to David.
"Alright, what's next?"
David chuckled.
"That was just a warm-up. Let's push it further."

Advanced Testing – Lucy's True Potential
David pointed to the far end of the rooftop, where a tall radio tower stood.
"Lucy, I want you to get to the top of that tower. No climbing. Just use your armor's mobility."
Lucy nodded, rolling her shoulders.
Then—
She vanished.
A blur of motion streaked across the rooftop.
In less than a second, she reached the base of the tower.
Jack barely blinked before she launched herself upwards, bounding between beams with inhuman agility.
Within three seconds, she had already reached the top.
She balanced effortlessly on the edge, looking down at them with a smirk.
Jack's knees nearly gave out.
"Dude… dude… she just—she just fing PARKOURED up a goddamn tower!"*
David laughed.
"Not just parkour. That was precision movement—assassin-level agility."
Lucy flipped gracefully and landed back on the rooftop in a crouch.
She stood up, brushing imaginary dust off her armor.
"I gotta admit… this is fun."
Jack shook his head in disbelief.
"No, this is terrifying. You're like a damn ghost."
David's eyes gleamed.
"And she hasn't even tested the real combat capabilities yet."
Jack threw his hands up.
"Okay, okay! I get it! You two are fing monsters now!"*
Lucy just smiled.
"Don't worry, Jack. I won't assassinate you… yet."
Jack paled.
"That's not funny."
David crossed his arms.
"Jokes aside, we need to train with these suits. The more we understand their limits, the more unstoppable we'll be."
Lucy nodded.
"Agreed. But let me ask—if we're already this strong now…"
She looked at David, eyes gleaming.
"What happens when we push these suits to their absolute limit?"
David smirked.
"That's exactly what we're going to find out."
And with that—
The real training began.
