Chapter 220 - Life As Pokemon Master

Even Larry's souvenir is in such high demand that many items sell out almost immediately after being stocked. Meanwhile, peripherals from other players, available in much smaller numbers, sit unnoticed and untouched.

"Boss, I'll take three Invisible Larry pendants, no, wait, make that five!" exclaimed a stylish white-collar woman with excitement.

She works at a famous law firm and had taken an extended vacation just to witness Larry's championship win in person. Other customers called out eagerly as well, "Boss, got any more portraits of Invisible Larry? If not, I'll have to check other stores!" and "Boss, Invisible Larry..."

Around the smaller vendors, crowds gathered like a swarm, their fanatical expressions almost zombie-like, completely absorbed in the frenzy. This scene was just a glimpse of the countless peripheral stalls across the area. The revenue generated solely from selling Larry's peripherals has already surpassed the amount Sky Arena spends on advertising.

Naturally, a significant portion of this money is shared with Larry himself. It's the difference between just getting by and thriving. The top executives at Sky Arena know this well: as long as they hold tight to Larry's popularity, they won't have to worry about missing out on opportunities to make money.

"See? Next fighting event, let's produce even more peripherals for Mr. Larry," said a senior executive, watching the bustling sales floor from a corner. He turned to his secretary with a satisfied smile, "Stop making peripherals for other owners on the assembly lines, focus entirely on Invisible Larry!"

It seemed they had been too cautious before, but after a year, the legend of Larry only grew stronger. His reputation hadn't faded; it had soared, especially after earning the title "The Strongest." The number of Larry's fans keeps climbing, and the demand shows no signs of slowing down.

The white-collar woman was just one among countless fanatics. If Larry had seen them, he might have thought of the shadow Beast Earthworm from before, their expressions all shared the same intense fanaticism.

In the world of Hunter x Hunter, people respect strength above all else. Otherwise, a place like the Sky Arena wouldn't be so popular. And honeslty if nen exist in real world, we will also have similiar structure.

At the top floor of the Sky Arena lies the domain of Invisible Larry, the entire 251st floor belongs to him. This spacious floor contains various rooms, all redesigned and redecorated according to Larry's personal taste and style after he took control. He even requested officials to arrange a thorough makeover to fit his aesthetic and accommodate his Pokémon.

There's a gym filled with all kinds of fitness equipment, where Lucario was busy working out. A swimming pool was nearby, where Lapras splashed happily in the water, accompanied by Dragonite. Despite their dragon-themed names, only Dragonite actually had dragon attributes, making it one of the two Pokémon Larry had that could comfortably move in water.

A large kitchen was stocked with heaps of delicious food like little hills in the room. Snorlax lay sprawled in the middle, eyes half-closed as if napping peacefully, looking completely at ease. Whenever hunger struck, he'd grab a handful of food and stuff it into his huge mouth with his massive hands.

There was even a desert room filled with sand, where Tyranitar stood calmly in the center as a sandstorm occasionally swirled around him. Being in the desert made Tyranitar feel at home, comfortable and relaxed. Meanwhile, Larry and Menchi sat together in the living room, enjoying afternoon tea and watching TV.

"The Sky Arena Martial Arts Tournament is about to begin, and the Invisible Larry is waiting for you there!" an excited announcer's voice echoed from the screen.

Larry frowned, a twitch crossing his lips. Sure, publicity was important, but wasn't this a bit over the top? And why were all the ads about the Sky Arena? He flipped through several channels, but no matter where he went, the same thing played. It seemed like every TV station had been taken over by Sky Arena promotions.

"Hahaha..." Menchi laughed so hard on the sofa that her round breasts bounced, catching Larry's attention despite himself.

"If you laugh again, I'll have to punish you with some discipline!" Larry warned Menchi, giving her a sly, threatening look as he sized her up.

Menchi puffed out her chest, trying to seem confident, though a faint blush colored her cheeks, showing a hint of shyness. "Go ahead, then," she challenged.

Larry was ready to 'handle' Menchi right there on the sofa. Just then, Gardevoir approached with a teacup in hand, a little puzzled. She was perfectly playing the role of a maid, skillfully serving tea and pouring water without missing a beat.

Clearing his throat, Larry paused as he met Gardevoir's blank gaze, then picked up the tea she offered. It was nice to have the Pokémon out and about when staying indoors.

Though they were essentially made of aura, each one had its own consciousness. Happiny stood behind the sofa dressed like a nurse, happily massaging Larry's shoulders with a warm smile.

As a cheerful Pokémon, Happiny loved bringing happiness to others and enjoyed massages that helped ease fatigue. The nurse's outfit suited it perfectly. In the Pokémon world, Happiny often worked at the Pokémon Center, saving and healing injured Pokémon.

While Larry enjoyed the massage, Gardevoir stayed nearby, serving tea and water. The other Pokémon in the room either munched on snacks or played in the water. This scene gave Larry a deep sense of satisfaction.

Unconsciously, he realized he already had quite a few Pokémon. This was what being a Pokémon master felt like!

In the future, he planned to gather even more Pokémon to satisfy his collector's heart. Unlike in the Pokémon games, where you can only carry six Pokémon, here, there was no limit, every Pokémon could be with you. One person, an entire army!

After arriving at the Sky Arena, a few days passed quickly. The arena martial arts tournament was finally underway, marking the busiest time of the year. There were still a few hours before the official start, with the opening ceremony scheduled for the evening.

The entrance to the Sky Arena had been packed from morning till night, the longest queue since the arena was founded. All this excitement was thanks to Larry! To handle the overwhelming crowd, measures were being taken, but the energy buzzing around the arena was undeniable.

The Sky Arena had brought in extra staff and doubled the number of ticket checkers for the day. There were no other events scheduled, just the martial arts competition. To accommodate the huge crowd expected, the officials had renovated and expanded the venue, making plenty of room for spectators.
