Toriel continued taking the character, while you continued enjoying the cutscene, until it ended, because the character suddenly dropped himself from Toriel's grip.
Toriel then stopped and turned to look at him.
Toriel: "Is something wrong, my child?"
You remain hesitant, for now, just the spectator of how the game, despite have ended the cutscene, went back to dialogues that were near cutscenes.
* You tell her you're not her child, and not dare to treat you as one.
Toriel hesitated for a moment, but then, you notice she started to move as with Frisk, guiding to her house.
Toriel walked all the way up the little stairs, and waited you on the doorframe to enter the next room.
You started moving around, but there was no save point. You struggled thinking that maybe they were changed of positions and you could save in other moment, so you continued your journey as you know it goes originally.
But the moment you enter the next room, another cutscene where the camera changes into second person perspective of the vessel observing while Toriel explains about the Ruins being filled with puzzles.
He then started walking, observing the pattern of the buttons in the ground, two horizontally and one vertically.
Toriel hesitated, and stopped talking, her dialogue was cut, as he suddenly did the puzzle himself.
Toriel: "Oh, very well, my ch-human... Uhh, let's go to the next room."
She then quickly walked out of the room, and the cutscene ended, allowing you to move again, and you hesitate in the room, thinking whatever this experiment is, is really worth of investigating deeply. But suddenly, while you try to interact with the things on the room, a cutscene happens, as the background is the room you are, and the foreground is straight at the front of the vessel, allowing you to see his body more clearly.
He remained with his hands on his pockets, his face shadowed, his hair darkened as there is a yellow tone color you can notice. His hair seems messy, but is very curly. His body type is hard to tell by the clothes, mainly the jacket giving him a bigger body visual of his torso. But his legs are medium-big, his thighs big, and then you accidentally rotate the camera, and so you rotate it around, hacking a full perspective of his body, and his waist is also medium-big, as if from his waist to down, his body was more female alike.
And suddenly, he talks while you continued observing and thinking.
"Shayy": "Enjoying the view?"
Then, he teased you by first slapping his own butt, and then grabbing it.
"Shayy": "For what you need a girlfriend, when you have this yourself, huh?"
You hesitated, but he continued teasing you, moving his hands over his waist slowly.
"Shayy": "If you like looking, well, you're in luck. You're going to look at it pretty much, so don't rush yourself to get a picture, or a video."
Then, the cutscene finished, and you perspective went back to up and 2D, and even if you had the control back, you hesitated for a short moment.
Then, you moved to the next area.
Toriel then started walking to the right through the path, but you walked to read the sign.
* Run with SHIFT.
* Yes, we know is in everywhere like this, is a tradition at this point, I guess.
You hesitate, but then start walking through the path, and press SHIFT, and the vessel started running, and quickly passed the first bridge and reached the lever. Then, you started running to the next bridge, passing it in less of a second, and quickly reaching the next lever, and then walked towards Toriel.
Toriel didn't say anything, only went to the next room. You hesitated, as Toriel remained silent more than usual, but you decided to go to pull the second lever that is incorrect.
You walk to the second lever, as there are two, the left one and the right one, and the right was always the broken lever originally, so you interact with the lever.
* You pull the lever...
* Something cracks under you.
Then, the floor under him breaks a little, and he falls, but as he falls, he moved his arms aside, receiving damage but saving himself from falling.
Then, another cutscene started, and you saw how he moved to turn around and try to climb, but then, the up arrow key appeared in the screen, showing to be smashed to climb up.
You hesitated for a second, while observing the cutscene and how he tried to climb up while trying to not fall, until he was falling slowly more and more.
That's when you started clicking the up arrow key on the keyboard, and he slowly started climbing, while also, a red fade silhouette fade in, and pushed him from behind to get up.
After a short moment, he got up, and the red fade silhouette vanished away while the cutscene stopped, and the view went back to normal. Then, you decided to move to the next room, and when you enter, Toriel walks and blocks the next doorframe.
Toriel: "I... I'm sorry, my ch-... Human... Could you... Please show you how good you can act with this dummy? Is for... Test if you can really defend yourself in the Ruins, as there will be monster who will attack you. Is not really their intention, they're just scared, and still remembering what humans did to them, so... I just need to see if you can... Defend yourself."
You hesitate, the dialogue was very different from what you expected. As you remember, originally, Toriel forced you to act with the dummy to teach you, but that was with Frisk, and this vessel isn't Frisk, and the experiment seems to be resulting more intriguing than you expected, as is more like a remaster or some sort of revamped version with clear improvements and changes.
Then, you walked towards the dummy, and after interacting with it, you enter in battle. You hesitate if giving Toriel what she wants, ACT, or if FIGHT to see if the dummy breaks differently with this vessel.
After a small moment to decide, you FIGHT, and when the slash hits, the dummy breaks very badly, barely into pieces, and then the fight ends.
Toriel: "... That's... Not how you solve your problems... Not always the fight will lead you to the correct path. But I know you know what you're doing, and... I'll trust you're just showing your strength to evade getting in fights, and is not for... Other things... Come on, my house is still a long way to go."
Then, Toriel went to the next room, and you interacted with the dummy.
* A shattered dummy.
* I wonder what that goat lady wanted with ACTing, as if that would really help...
You hesitate, but then check STATS, and notice his face didn't change from being shadowed, and a little red fade glow was seen on his right eye. And then a little dialogue text on the menu.
* Route chosen: Genocide-True Genocide
* Completion: In progress
After a moment of observing and narrating to the stream this, you continue to the next room. And is the bridge puzzle room, and you follow Toriel, until where the first Froggit appears jumping, but in here, there's no fight, but a cutscene.
The vessel, grabs the tongue of the Froggit before it hits him, and then he starts crashing the Froggit wall to wall, to the ceiling, and to the ground, over and over again, while also spinning some times, until a moment later, he threw the Froggit away, crashing against a wall.
Toriel looks at the vessel disappointed and worried, but he simply stretches his shoulders.
Toriel: "Listen, you didn't had to-"
The vessel ignored Toriel, and walked forward, moving to pass her, and observe the bridge and spikes.
Toriel hesitated, and walked to be aside him.
Toriel: "This is one of the puzzles I mentioned the Ruins are filled of. Take my hand, and let's cross it."
Toriel offers her hand to guide him, but after a short moment of observing everything around, the vessel jumped to the water, and started swimming easily to the other side, and then got up in the other side of the bridge.
Toriel remained gasping, spechless, while completely surprised, and worried. But then she started doing the puzzle to cross the bridge.
When she crossed, Toriel moved closer to him, placing her left hand over his right shoulder.
Toriel: "Why... Did you do that, human? Let's go quick, before you get sick."
The vessel then slapper her hand off, and started quitting his clothes. He quit his jacket and shirt, placing them tied to his waist, and then moving up his pants up, now his torso completely showing and so his thighs and legs.
Toriel gasps again, spechless, wondering what to think, but the vessel remained calm and careless while turned to look where the path was going to continue.
His torso was of someone strong as had muscles, but not of someone really strong. His legs were big muscled, and his thighs were big sized.
His shoulder and the back of his are filled with injuries, as same as few injuries over his arms. None seems dangerous, but as marks that may be deep and remain forever too.
The vessel then pointed with his right hand where the path continued, and turned to look at Toriel. She hesitated, and nodded slowly, as if confirming that was the way they had to go.
The vessel moved down his right hand, and nodded three times slowly while also looking down.
You hesitated, the stream chat going crazy. You didn't know what to say, as you didn't expect a cutscene near like this.
After a moment, the cutscene finished, and Toriel walked to the next room, and you followed her, this room being the large hallway with multiple pillars, where you know Toriel originally runs and 'tests' Frisk's independence, something that you find it doesn't really make sense by how Toriel does this, but you expect something different by what happened until now.
When you walk a little forward, a dialogue cutscene started, where Toriel grabbed his left hand, and both started walking together slowly.
Toriel: "Listen, I... I know you're not a child, you're strong, you know how to defend yourself, but... Not everything is solved with violence, or by your own."
"I like how you have proven yourself capable of going through different situations, and solve each differently, as solving the problem, or using a different approach. That comforts me from worrying about your safety, but from the Ruins, everything will not be as in the Ruins."
"In here, the Ruins, I'll be here for you, and guiding you, but once you leave this place, monsters will try to kill you the second they see you, and give your soul to Asgore."
"I don't doubt your strength, but no strength is capable of surpassing fate, the fate many others had to suffer... One by one, I lost them, and Asgore got their souls, those who I considered my children..."
Toriel then stops, and suddenly knees down, crying. The vessel hesitated, and for once, his expression changed, as his face was now visible but still fadely shadowed, and his pupils were glowing green, his expression of slight sadness and worry.
After a short moment, he slowly tried to approach her, moving his arms to hug her, but hesitated as if he couldn't, but then, in a sudden, Toriel hugs him, moving him tightly against her. He remained surprised and got off guard, his head in the middle of her chest, his arms wide open and firm, while Toriel continued crying and sobbing.
Then, another cutscene started, the camera changing to showing both characters.
Then, slowly, he slowly moved his arms and gave Toriel the hug back.
"Shayy": "Uhm... Can you... Not make this... This weird?"
Toriel hesitated, still sobbing, but turned to look at him.
Toriel: "Weird? What do you mean, my child?"
He hesitated, but decided to not tell anything about being called her child.
"Shayy": "Well... Look my head, and... Where is it."
Toriel didn't understand what he meant, but after a short moment, she understood, and gasped, quickly moving herself and him away, and she then got up, and all fell into silence. It was a very awkward moment, where her face was all red, and she didn't know what to do or process, if her sadness for her children, or the shyness of what she did accidentally.
"Shayy": "... I kind of liked it, honestly."
Toriel's face went redder, as could drop smoke.
Toriel: "What??! Y-you..."
"Shayy": "I mean, it was soft and comfortable. And also, is not as I don't like girls or anything, so... Thanks for the gift."
Toriel's face was barely pure red and almost burning and dropping smoke, but she remained spechless and static as if she just got paralyzed and still processing.
The cutscene then finished, and your view went back to normal, and the dialogue cutscene continued, as Toriel started moving quickly, running forward.
Toriel: "W-w-wait here, I-I.. I'll... Be right back!"
The vessel then started running following her.
You continue observing, seeing how the vessel ran following her, easily being behind her and passing her, and then both went to the next room, and continued running towards the wall.
Then, another cutscene, but you remained observing, as if this was a movie instead of a game.
Toriel, still full red face, didn't notice was running towards the wall and was getting so close, but he as passed her, was closer, and with his speed, he didn't stop, but jumped at the wall, landing with his right leg, and quickly turning to launch himself as he did by jumping and grabbing Toriel.
The impulse made both fall back, and after a short moment, Toriel slowly recovered herself, and noticed he being up of her, and her face went red again.
"Shayy": "Are you ok?"
Toriel hesitated, but he moved getting up, and offer his hands to her. She slowly moved her hands, and he quickly grabbed them, and with strength, impulsed her up, making her fall against him, but he grabbed her with a hug with his arms around her and hands on her back, but again, her head in her chest.
"Shayy": "Hmm... Comfy."
Toriel hesitated, all overwhelming her to the point she wouldn't think anymore, but after a moment, he moved back.
"Shayy": "Well, glad you're alright."
Toriel hesitated, still cooling down, and he waited while turning to look around.
The cutscene then finished, and after a short moment, Toriel was herself again.
Toriel: "I-I... T-thanks...?"
* You ask her name.
Toriel then gasped, remembering and noticing she didn't introduce herself properly.
Toriel: "Oh, I forgot that. Sorry, my child. I'm Toriel, the caretaker of the Ruins. Let's just... Let's just go to my house. I'm sure... Everything will relax once we reach there."
Toriel then grabbed his left hand, and continued guiding him, while she moved her left hand to her face as she was disappointed with herself and still shy from everything.
