Dear Diary,
TODAY. WAS. WILD.
Okay, so remember the baby shower last week? Everyone thought they were good at guessing the baby's gender. Well, today? They had their chance to prove it.
Yup. The GENDER REVEAL PARTY.
We had it at this cute outdoor rooftop café with a clear view of the sunset sky — soft clouds, fairy lights strung everywhere, and a backdrop that said in big sparkly letters:
> "Team Blue vs. Team Pink!"
And ohhh, the DRAMA that followed.
Everyone had to wear either pink or blue to represent their guess.
Hye-jin, of course, wore a head-to-toe pink power outfit and said, "It's a girl. I literally FEEL her future diva energy."
Dae-hyun came in a blue hoodie and kept whispering, "He's going to be cool like me."
Na-ra wore pink AND blue. When we asked her why, she just smirked and said, "I don't take sides. I win either way."
There was a cute little guessing board where everyone wrote their name, their guess, and a funny reason. A few highlights:
Seul-gi: "Girl. Eun-ji's cravings scream future drama queen."
Min-seo: "Boy. I had a dream he was born with DIMPLES like Min-jun."
Mi-young: "Girl. She's gonna be a quiet artist like me."
And then came the actual moment.
THE REVEAL.
Min-jun and I were standing behind this huge black balloon filled with either blue or pink powder. I could barely hear anything over my heartbeat.
We held hands, counted down...
3... 2... 1... POP!!!
POOF!
A giant cloud of light pink dust exploded into the air. It was like a cotton candy storm of sparkles and squeals.
Everyone SCREAMED.
"It's a girl!!!"
Min-jun legit lifted me off the ground in a giant spin, and I started crying (of course), and Hye-jin screamed, "I TOLD YOUUUU!" while Seul-gi recorded the whole thing.
And then Dae-hyun dramatically dropped to his knees and shouted,
> "NOOOOOO! I already bought a tiny skateboard!"
After that, it was pink cupcakes, bubble tea, dancing, and Min-jun holding my bump like the proudest dad-to-be ever.
We got home exhausted but glowing. Literally glowing. I still have glitter in my hair.
I'm gonna be someone's MOM.
And that someone is a little girl.
