Chapter 208 - Chapter 99: Drill Drill Drill

In an instant, the red lightning illuminated the entire space, and the scarlet lightning chain twisted like a venomous snake, hissing and gnawing at Tom Riddle's diary.

Tom Riddle resisted the urge to separate his soul and materialize to observe the surroundings, patiently waiting for a long time but receiving no response.

Little Tom in the diary was puzzled. Why did the person who found his diary not respond to the words that automatically appeared on it, nor touch the diary itself? He had already prepared several sets of dialogue plans to guess the deepest desires of the person through their interaction and induce them to rely on him, ultimately opening their heart completely to him and being controlled to continue his grand plan.

But why are you not touching the diary, just opening it and pouring ink on it?

This was not in the plan.

Then, in the next second, he experienced a sensation he had never felt before.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!"

The soul fragment of little Tom let out a silent, piercing scream. He felt his soul falling into a hell of blazing flames, burning fiercely, with thousands of sharp knives stabbing into and out of his body, twisting and cutting, causing his consciousness to become blurry, and everything before him seemed to be a sea of crimson, all senses becoming chaotic and unable to distinguish spatial orientation.

On the small platform, the diary began to tremble wildly, and many pages even started to disintegrate in Glenn's torment of Tom Riddle, eventually turning to ashes.

The soul fragment's body began to gradually fall apart. If Tom projected his materialized soul outside at this moment, Glenn and Hermione would have seen a barely perceptible crack on his twisted face, with more cracks continuously climbing up his cheeks.

How could a sixteen-year-old Tom have ever experienced such pain?

This evil curse directly acting on the soul was extremely effective on little Tom in his soul fragment state, causing significant harm while also weakening his strength, achieving two goals at once.

Glenn used the Cruciatus Curse on little Tom Riddle, and the effect was outstanding!

This cruel torture was only maintained by Glenn for a second, as any longer might cause the soul fragment's consciousness to completely vanish due to the pain, making it impossible to obtain any information through questioning.

But this brief second felt like a century to little Tom, and the trembling sensation from the essence of his soul could not be dispelled until now.

Glenn stopped casting the spell, took a breath, but did not lower his wand. To try and intimidate Voldemort's soul fragment from the start, he directly cast the most effective Cruciatus Curse he could manage, which not only consumed a large amount of magical power and physical strength but also had a significant impact on his spirit.

Taking a deep breath, Glenn frowned to alleviate the twisted mindset and sadistic pleasure emerging in his heart, when a warm little hand touched his face.

Glenn looked up to see Hermione gazing at him with a worried expression, while in her hand, a continuous stream of warmth flowed into his spirit, soothing the aftereffects of the Cruciatus Curse.

Hermione did not offer verbal comfort to Glenn, only silently supporting him with her actions. Despite the fact that he was casting the Unforgivable Curse, which she found displeasing, the young girl merely bit her lip, refraining from expressing any opinion.

"It's okay now." After two or three seconds, Glenn gently released Hermione's hand and, under her complex gaze, once again turned to Tom Riddle's diary.

At this moment, the diary seemed like a living creature, twitching slightly at an imperceptible rate, but this could not escape Glenn's heightened perception.

She knew the Cruciatus Curse had worked.

Now, the interrogation began.

With a flick of the wand, the ink in the bottle rose like a dragon, swirling in the air, splattering a few droplets on the diary to form the content Glenn intended.

[Tell me the exact location of the Chamber of Secrets and the Basilisk.]

A straightforward question, Glenn did not intend to play any convoluted interrogation games with Voldemort.

Provide the information I want, and you can wait until I kill the Basilisk before dying.

If not, die now. Once this soul fragment dissipates, the Chamber of Secrets will remain unopened for a long time, and the Basilisk naturally cannot launch any attacks.

Two very humane solutions, choose wisely.

The ink slowly sank into the diary, and the trembling diary fell silent.

Counting to two seconds and seeing that the soul fragment inside the diary was not planning to talk, Glenn did not intend to wait any longer and began chanting the spell with a blank expression.

"Cruciatus."

The familiar red lightning instantly hit the diary on the small platform, and the pages of the diary began to churn again, the torn pages flying around with the splattering scarlet light, and little Tom's consciousness once again plunged into excruciating pain.

This time, Glenn only maintained the Cruciatus Curse for a brief moment before stopping, with the purpose of demonstrating to Tom that she still had the strength to continue casting the same spell to torture him, and he better be sensible.

This brief pain allowed little Tom to regain clarity from the initial chaos of boundless pain, and for a moment, resentment and anger filled his mind.

"I will kill you..."

"I will kill you——"

"I will kill you!!!!!!!"

"I will definitely kill you!!!!!!!" The raging anger surged through Tom's mind, and the pain from the soul was all transformed into his murderous intent towards the caster of the Cruciatus Curse outside.

But he quickly calmed down because Tom Riddle clearly understood his current situation. No matter how angry, it was just impotent rage.

No way, he was now just a soul fragment, unable to directly act on the outside world.

"I must endure... find an opportunity..."

But before his thoughts could continue, that damned red light filled his mind again.

Glenn continued to cast the Cruciatus Curse with a blank expression, and under the cold red light, her pale face appeared even more ruthless and merciless.
