Glenn nodded, and suddenly a large bottle of potion appeared in her left hand. Without hesitation, she uncorked the bottle and poured out the liquid. However, before it could spill onto the floor, Glenn's right hand drew out her wand, the tip emitting a dark light.
"Whirlwind Carrier." The falling trend of the liquid abruptly stopped, and the transparent, colorless liquid began to rapidly spin in mid-air, seemingly supported by a whirlwind beneath it, holding its weight.
"Is this... the Water of Life and Death?" Hermione, who often hung out with Glenn in Professor Snape's office doing chores and researching potions in the Room of Requirement, gently waved her hand to fan the scent left in the air by the liquid, slightly raising her eyebrows as she recognized the potion that could put creatures into a baby-like sleep.
"Those unrelated to the matter might hinder our actions," Glenn guided the whirlwind carrying the now invisible tiny droplets of Water of Life and Death through the gap under the door into the dormitory where Ginny and her roommates were, "Moreover, the fewer people know about this, the better. If Ginny's roommates see us, even though we're disguised now, it will still be troublesome later."
"And you wouldn't allow me to use Obliviate on them, so it's better to make them unaware of the whole situation beforehand."
"Additionally, we don't know the true identity of the Heir of Slytherin. It's not impossible that they might actually be one of Ginny's roommates. Although the probability is low, we must remain cautious when entering the dormitory and conduct a thorough check on each of them."
Hermione watched the whirlwind silently sneak under the dormitory door and sighed, patting Glenn's shoulder, "You don't need to explain so much to me. I unconditionally support your ideas, and I'll assist you later."
Glenn nodded, keeping her focus on the door.
After about two or three seconds, the sound of five heavy objects falling echoed one after another. Through heightened perception, Glenn continuously monitored the physiological state of each young witch inside the room. Once she confirmed they were all in a deep sleep, Glenn pointed her wand at the door lock.
"Alohomora."
With a click, the door unlocked.
Opening the door slightly, the two quickly slipped into the room.
The scene inside the room was exactly as Glenn had investigated. Three girls lay or sprawled on their beds in various positions, with one unfortunate soul seemingly having just finished washing up, coming out of the bathroom, and now leaning against the door frame, sound asleep.
"Ginny's bed is by the window, and the small bulge against the headboard is probably her." Hermione used zombie floating to gently place the sleeping unfortunate girl from the floor onto the bed, then pointed to Ginny's bed.
The young girl's wand remained in her hand, maintaining a vigilant state.
But Glenn didn't immediately go forward to uncover the small blanket hiding Ginny; instead, she stood in front of Hermione, looking up at her expressionlessly.
The latter understood and extended her hand, gently placing it on Glenn's head.
Now, with the height difference after Glenn drank the gender transformation potion, Hermione easily reached Glenn's head, but clearly, the young girl didn't have time to enjoy the familiar and comforting sensation.
"Mental Guard." A warm white glow appeared between the young girl's hand and the little girl's head as Hermione cast the spell recorded in the Sacred Book that she had been practicing during this period.
Mental Guard, as the name suggests, is a spell to guard the mind, similar to Occlumency in its function. However, while Occlumency can only prevent one's mind from being invaded by others, Mental Guard not only serves this purpose but also provides a self-repairing shield over anyone's mind, imbued with the characteristics of the Sacred.
That is repair, healing, and purification.
The infused holy power remains, the shield stays intact, and the spirit remains unharmed.
Approaching Ginny's roommates, who might be the Heir of Slytherin themselves, and Ginny, whose memory is certainly controlled by the Heir, is considered very dangerous by Glenn.
So meticulous preparation is necessary.
"Alright, it's done," Hermione said, rubbing Glenn's head and withdrawing her hand.
Feeling the warmth in her mind, Glenn began to operate Occlumency.
With dual protection, Glenn approached the beds of the young girls, her left hand using the Hand of Sorcery to maintain the output of magic, an invisible hand prying open the eyes of the first girl.
"Legilimency." Magic gathered in her eyes as Glenn cast the spell Snape taught her for the first time within Hogwarts.
The girl's memories flashed through Glenn's mind as she quickly scanned the vast stream of information, but she didn't find any useful information she wanted.
Retracting her gaze, Glenn swiftly moved on to the next girl to cast Legilimency.
Hermione was internally disapproving of this method...
...So she simply closed one eye, maintaining vigilance.
No choice, since it's Glenn, she might as well turn a blind eye.
"No anomalies, we can basically rule out their suspicion." Glenn finished reading the memories and slightly frowned; even she was a bit unaccustomed to the continuous influx of memories.
Taking out a magic potion, Glenn drank it, constantly keeping her magic within her body full.
"Next is Ginny Weasley. Hermione, you should step back."
Turning to another direction, Glenn cast a spell to uncover Ginny's blanket, revealing Ginny beneath.
The young girl curled into a small ball, lying alone on her bed.
Although asleep, Ginny didn't seem to feel the comfort brought by deep sleep. At this moment, her eyes were tightly shut, and the cold sweat on her face had long soaked her hair.
Her brows were furrowed, fists clenched tightly.
Ginny bit her lip, looking like she was having a nightmare.
Seeing this, Hermione was about to step forward to cast a spell to ease Ginny's feelings and mood, but Glenn reached out to stop her.
Glenn shook her head at her.
The young girl gritted her teeth, slightly tilted her head, forcibly stopping herself, but her eyes revealed her unsettled emotions.
Seeing Hermione not impulsively act, Glenn lowered her hand, stepped forward, and coldly used magic to pry open Ginny's eyes.
Legilimency activated.
