But this ''Eternal Life'' power was limited to this world. It might vanish the moment he leaves this realm.
With swift hand seals, Qin Yi pressed down.
"Seal of Destruction!"
Below, in the twelve Fusang military bases, the Fusang soldiers suddenly noticed strange black runes, resembling tadpoles, appearing at the center of their base squares. The runes spread out for hundreds of meters, creeping across the ground.
"What is this?!"
Confused, the Fusang soldiers gathered around, staring at the ground, unable to understand this mysterious phenomenon.
High above, Qin Yi let out a cold laugh, his hands quickly forming another hand seal.
"Ninpō (Ninja Art), Tengai Shinsei (Heavenly Obstacle Quaking Star)!"
In an instant, twelve meteors, each about the size of a small hill, appeared high in the sky, at an altitude of ten thousand meters. The meteors tore through the clouds and began plummeting toward the ground.
"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!"
The thunderous sounds from the sky immediately alerted those below. They looked up, their eyes wide in shock as the meteors descended with terrifying speed.
"What is that?!"
To be honest, the meteors summoned by Qin Yi's Ninjutsu were not particularly large, smaller than the ones Uchiha Madara summoned in the original timeline. But Qin Yi had no need to unleash his full power on these Fusang troops.
Splitting one massive meteor into twelve smaller ones, each aimed at a different base, was more than enough to overwhelm them.
The twelve meteors, resembling small hills, traced arcs through the air, accelerating toward the ground at terrifying speeds. The Fusang soldiers were plunged into chaos and panic.
Meanwhile, some citizens of Xia, seeing the meteors heading straight for the Fusang army, immediately knelt in awe and reverence.
"The heavens are showing their might, punishing these evildoers!"
"Crush them, crush these beasts!"
"Who can escape the will of the heavens!"
Tears of excitement streamed down their faces as they recalled the countless atrocities the Fusang forces had committed in Xia. Finally, it seemed as though the heavens had come to collect their due.
At that moment, a massive black dragon appeared in the sky, its roar deafening.
"Monsters and demons, I will first restore peace to my country, then visit your homeland!"
The dragon's voice was cold and filled with authority, sending waves of fear through the Fusang soldiers. The citizens of Xia realized that the roaring beast was not some divine power, but the legendary Dragon Emperor who had recently unified Xia.
"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"
As the meteors descended, the shockwaves from their rapid fall created a violent wind that swirled dust and debris, forcing the Fusang soldiers to their knees. Even the most advanced firearms were useless against such a force.
When they saw the meteors blotting out the sun, their fate was sealed.
"Boom!"
The meteors struck the Fusang military bases with earth-shattering force. The sound of mountains collapsing echoed across the region, followed by the ground cracking and splitting like waves in the ocean. A storm of dust and debris erupted, filling the air with chaos.
For several minutes, everything was obscured by the raging storm. Those caught in the blast were left disoriented, unable to comprehend what had just happened. The meteors, each the size of a small hill, had caused utter devastation.
As the wind began to settle and the dust cleared, the citizens of Xia who were nearby stared in awe.
"My heavens!"
"Was this the work of the Dragon Emperor?!"
"How terrifying!"
Though they felt excitement and awe, there was also a sense of dread at the unimaginable power Qin Yi had displayed.
The meteors had plummeted into the ground with unstoppable force, and the once-strong Fusang military bases had been torn apart like paper. The impact had caused an explosion of ammunition and gunpowder, wiping out everything in its path.
Even more terrifying was the sight of massive fissures opening up in the ground outside the Fusang base. These cracks radiated outward for ten kilometers, as if a giant spider had woven its web across the earth.
The citizens looked up at the sky, where a faint black dragon could still be seen disappearing into the clouds, its presence as fleeting as a shadow.
When Qin Yi returned to the palace, the entire nation of Xia, now officially Qin's Nation, was in an uproar.
The meteor strike in the northeastern provinces had completely obliterated the Fusang army and reclaimed the land for Qin's Nation. With the legend of his power now spreading across the land, he was viewed almost mythically. From that moment onward, he was revered as the Dragon Emperor, the symbol of unassailable might.
Imagine a being capable of summoning meteors from the heavens, an ancient emperor, a living legend. Who would dare to defy him?
On the third day, General Yang arrived at the palace, visibly weary from his journey.
"Your Majesty, your unmatched might and the meteors that obliterated the Fusang army have spread throughout the land!"
Qin Yi sat upon the dragon throne, his gaze surveying the room below.
"What about the tasks I assigned you?" he asked, his tone commanding.
"Rest assured, Your Majesty. I have heard that your Daimyo's name echoes throughout the nation, and even those who fled to Tainan are filled with fear. They arrived in Kyoto yesterday, awaiting your summons," General Yang replied loudly, standing at attention.
Qin Yi nodded slightly. He could feel his King's Strength continuing to grow with each passing day. However, with Qin's Nation rapidly expanding, its population now over five hundred million, it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to monitor every detail.
In the grand scheme, one more or one less matter didn't hold much significance for him.
"So, does this mean that Qin's Nation has been fully unified?"
Suddenly standing, Qin Yi's eyes sharpened, a glint of determination flashing in them.
"Yes, Your Majesty! The name of the Dragon Emperor is known throughout the world, and all hold it in great reverence!" General Yang exclaimed, his voice brimming with pride and admiration.
He had envisioned this moment long before discovering Qin Yi, but he never imagined it would come so swiftly. The power of the Dragon Emperor was truly overwhelming, deemed invincible, a true Spiritual God. With such a figure in the world, who could possibly stand against him?
"Very well!" Qin Yi nodded in satisfaction, his lips curling into a slight smile.
Before coming to the Dragon Emperor World, he had expected that conquering this realm would not be a difficult task. His primary goal had been to use the vastness of this world to expand the scope of his King's World. For him, the quickest way to enhance his power here was to invade lower-tier worlds.
Once he established a Realm Gate projection and summoned Shinobi from the King's World, unifying the entire world would be but a matter of time.
Of course, before that, he still had one pressing matter to address.
With a cold gleam in his eyes, Qin Yi gazed beyond the golden hall, as though his sight were reaching across an ocean to a distant continent.
On the far shores of another ocean, a nation gleamed with the brilliance of its technological might.
Qin Yi understood the gravity of the situation. Crossing this era would inevitably lead to the next, one where the clash of nuclear powers would dominate the stage.
"An atomic bomb?" he muttered to himself. "That is indeed a powerful force."
