Chapter 165 - Chapter 166: Straight to the Fight!

Chapter 166: Straight to the Fight!

Even if it's a conceptual-type ability, with the current power of the Divine Light Virus, it shouldn't be completely ineffective.

After all, the virus had already assimilated all the divine abilities it had acquired and evolved further.

"So I can only borrow power through the Cosmic Mode?"

Chang Wei sighed helplessly.

In that case, he'd fight Saitama first, then push him past his current limits—until he reached the level where he effortlessly crushed Cosmic Garou in the original story. That would be the best time to borrow his strength.

"Who are you?"

Saitama scratched the back of his head as he looked at the unexpected visitor. Right now, he didn't even have Genos as a disciple, and his social circle was practically nonexistent. Naturally, he didn't think he'd know Chang Wei.

But before he could react, Chang Wei landed a direct punch, sending him flying straight into a teleportation portal.

The next moment, they arrived at the modified supergravity planet where Chang Wei had previously battled Cosmic Garou. At this point, the planet had already collapsed, its volume significantly reduced, but its density and mass had become terrifying.

Not only that, but this time, Chang Wei even utilized the Green Baby's infinite shrinking ability. Celestial Made in China: Requiem now allowed him to use any Stand ability he had seen before—though only the ones he had personally witnessed.

Saitama hadn't realized he had been shrunk. Right now, he was simply furious at Chang Wei's ambush.

"Don't die on me, Saitama. If it's you, I'd be more than happy... to go all out!"

Chang Wei had been waiting for this moment for far too long. Cosmic Garou had given him a brief thrill, but only briefly. Back then, he had been afraid that Garou might surpass him and take him down before he even had the chance to activate Time Stop. But now, things were different. Saitama wouldn't kill a fellow human—this was the perfect opportunity.

"What do you mean? You know me? Wait… this isn't Earth, is it?"

Saitama quickly covered his nose—then realized that he could still breathe?

Chang Wei was speechless.

Both he and Garou had been able to talk in space, so maybe the One Punch Man universe was like the One Piece universe—maybe there really was oxygen or air in space? Otherwise, how were they able to speak and communicate?

Saitama didn't even need oxygen or air, but he still thought of himself as a regular human.

In this regard, Chang Wei couldn't be as pure as him. Come on, the guy could blow up planets and still thought he was human. Was it sheer conviction? Or just a lack of intelligence?

"Supernova Burst + Cosmic Mode—this is the Big Bang technique I developed!"

Now that he had Cosmic Mode, Chang Wei could pull off all sorts of insane tricks—like mimicking the annihilation effect of matter and antimatter colliding to unleash a planet-shattering force and speed!

He liked borrowing ideas from others, but this technique was something he had personally optimized and refined—making it utterly ridiculous.

A certain muscle-bound gorilla used true energy and magic power clashing within his body to generate annihilation reactions, producing immense energy.

That technique, however, was uncontrollable once activated—it would inevitably spiral out of balance.

But Cosmic Mode could stabilize it. This mode reminded Chang Wei of the Fifth Stage Gene Lock, where saints could perfectly control energy. Not only did the Divine Light Virus allow him to achieve Fourth-Stage Gene Lock levels of control over his own genes, but now, Cosmic Mode let him manage energy as well.

His Big Bang technique was essentially using annihilation reactions within his own cells to generate vast amounts of energy.

He didn't even dare to test this on Earth—just the residual shockwaves from activating the move might destroy the entire planet. Of course, he'd be fine.

"Cosmic Mode lets me harness my internal energy without losing control, making it as stable as controlled nuclear fusion… no, even more stable. Honestly, using it for martial arts feels like a waste of its potential."

As Chang Wei pondered, the annihilation reaction at the cellular level had already begun. Matter and antimatter collided in perfect opposition, triggering a chain reaction of energy bursts.

Now, however, the energy generated by just one of his cells far exceeded his previous controlled nuclear fusion technique—possibly surpassing his entire previous self.

Saitama's pupils shrank.

His expression shifted from his usual blank stare to one of slight surprise—the same look he had when he first saw Boros activate Meteoric Burst.

It was like watching a still image suddenly start moving. Or like a film that had been playing at one-hundred-times slow motion, and now, for the first time, someone was moving at normal speed.

Boros had reshaped Saitama's worldview—the first opponent who had been "fast" enough to be recognized as moving.

Maybe that was why he found Genos and other people annoying—because, in his eyes, their speech was like one-hundred-times slow-motion playback.

That must have been agonizing.

But now, Saitama was finally struggling to see someone clearly—Chang Wei.

BOOM!!!

The world crumbled.

Despite being shrunken down to the size of insects, when Chang Wei entered Big Bang Mode, an enormous energy "bubble" instantly formed on the planet's surface—large enough to be seen with the naked eye!

Its destructive range was already comparable to that of a nuclear bomb.

Saitama was blasted away.

"Whoa! What is this?!"

Saitama was startled and intrigued—it looked cool as hell!

Chang Wei was already in pursuit.

"ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!!!"

Chang Wei unleashed a flurry of punches, each one tearing through space, leaving behind momentary black streaks—wrinkles in the very fabric of reality!

The sheer destructive force was overwhelming.

Saitama's clothes were shredded by the shockwaves, and when Chang Wei's fists landed, his body visibly deformed from the impact.

For the first time in ages, Saitama felt pain.

That long-forgotten sensation made his gaze turn serious.

"Normal Punch."

Even though his opponent was insanely strong, Saitama still held back—after all, the guy was human. So, he threw a test punch.

Chang Wei didn't dodge. He met the punch head-on!

BOOM!!!

The air pressure detonated instantly, the ground quaked violently.

For the first time ever, someone had countered Saitama's Normal Punch and returned it to him!

Saitama skidded across the ground, dragged along for quite a distance before finally coming to a stop.

"AHHHHHH!!! My clothes!!!"

Saitama was broke—so he always dodged attacks if it meant saving his clothes.

Now, seeing his tattered outfit, he was both heartbroken and pissed off!

"Even without borrowing his strength, is the gap between us still this huge?"

Chang Wei was deep in thought.

That entire combo, if landed on Cosmic Garou, would have killed him before he even felt the aftershocks.

Yet Saitama was still completely fine—just a little hurt.

Could it be that… even a pre-growth Saitama was already beyond absurd?

"If that's the case… this is gonna be tough."

Chang Wei stared at Saitama's overly simplistic art style.
