Footsteps echoed in the hallway as a figure made her way to Roman's room. As she approached the door, the maid immediately bowed down.
"Your highness," the maid spoke as she saw Princess Faylen. Then, both of them heard a loud sound from Roman's room.
Faylen immediately slammed the door open, and Roman was on the bed unconscious, and his chair was broken into pieces in the center of the room.
The maid came in behind the princess, and both of them looked around, but there was no one there except Roman. Faylen looked from the windows, but Royal knights were stationed below, so no one could have gone out of the window.
'Was he testing a spell, that might explain this but he's a flame mage...wait, he also has illusion magic, I really can't understand this male'
"Clean the mess, and I don't want to hear a word of this, is that clear?" Faylen spoke, and the maid nodded in response.
