Among the countless types of Blazers, one stood out for its notorious reputation: the Puppet Warlock.

These masters of Magic Control could weave Magic Power into threads, using them to manipulate external objects, not just inanimate objects, but even living beings.

They were commonly known as Steel Wire Messengers or Puppet Warlocks.

Their infamy stemmed from their ability to remotely control others. By infiltrating the brain through orifices like the ears and nose, they could carry out a range of horrific acts, from complete destruction to brainwashing.

If Ryoji hadn't dodged in time, the opponent's Magic Power threads would have invaded his brain.

Had that happened, he would have become nothing more than a puppet in his opponent's hands.

Whether they chose to completely destroy his mind or force him to rampage through the city, slaughtering indiscriminately, the decision would have been entirely theirs.

Even if they had killed Rich Lady Kanata on the spot, he would have been powerless to resist.

No matter how his heart ached, he could only watch helplessly as he committed an unforgivable crime!

This was the Puppet Warlock.

Ryoji's expression instantly darkened, a fierce killing intent blazing in his eyes.

Blazers of this type were exceedingly rare worldwide, but each one was undoubtedly a top priority for international powers, who meticulously guided them toward the right path.

A Puppet Warlock like this one, who had developed an antisocial personality, was truly one in a billion.

"Kanata, protect yourself."

Ryoji's tone was icy, his voice laced with frost.

"I know."

Kanata activated her Spiritual Item (Device), concealing the blade fragments within the acupoints around her body to prevent the enemy from invading her mind.

Boom!

The ground shattered beneath Ryoji's foot as he shot forward like lightning!

"So fast!"

An astonished voice crackled through the loudspeaker.

'Excellent. Another crime added to the list!'

His figure streaked across the battlefield like a meteor, covering fifty meters in a single second. With the force of a missile strike, his blade slammed into the giant's right leg.

It was truly just a collision.

There was no elegance, no artistry, only a brutal impact aimed solely at destruction.

The giant's massive, tree-trunk-like right leg shattered without warning. Amidst the splintering wood, the giant staggered violently before crashing to the ground.

After all, its body was merely constructed from rock, it couldn't possibly be that durable!

Ryoji spun on his heel, using the momentum to whirl around and launch another assault. He transformed into a streak of light, darting across the battlefield before charging straight at the giant's chest.

"Seriously, how am I supposed to see anything like this?"

The camera's view became erratic, and an annoyed grumble echoed from the speaker.

Boom!

The next moment, under the force of the frontal assault, the camera's feed dissolved into static.

"Aiya, this is really..."

On the mountain slope, Ryoji stretched his body to its limit, twisting his waist, hips, and legs into an extreme coil before unleashing a full-powered thrust.

With a thunderous roar that shook the earth, his body pierced through the giant's form like a cannonball, effortlessly destroying the camera.

A massive hole was blasted through the giant's chest, causing its colossal form to crumble. Countless grains of sand and fragments of rock cascaded from its body.

"Did we take it down?"

The words had barely left his lips when the debris from the collapsing giant began to coalesce on the ground, reforming into three new giants, each towering four meters tall.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The three giants spread out, charging at Ryoji from three different directions.

Ryoji clicked his tongue softly.

His figure, moving with the speed of a shooting star, darted between the giants' limbs, weaving through their attacks with impossible agility. Even with Rich Lady Kanata clinging to his back, the giants couldn't even graze his tail.

Boom!

Crash!

With each thunderous impact, the giants shattered one after another.

But shortly afterward, they reformed into seven or eight smaller giants, each standing two meters tall.

Realizing the giants were endless, Ryoji frowned slightly, then swiftly retreated, his gaze sweeping the battlefield like lightning.

"Don't brute force it," Kanata's voice called from behind, her words ringing clearly in his ears.

"The Puppet Warlock's greatest strength lies in their Magic Power threads. As long as those threads remain intact, they can endlessly resurrect their puppets, no matter how many times you destroy them!"

The rocks flowed like quicksand, clinging to the threads and reforming endlessly, no matter how many times they were shattered.

Even if the controlled puppet was human, the Warlock could bisect it at the waist and forcibly stitch it back together with the threads, restoring its combat capabilities.

"But the Warlock isn't even here! What are we supposed to target?" Ryoji dodged the giants' relentless charges.

Though he evaded them with effortless grace, his patience was wearing thin.

The most effective way to defeat a Puppet Warlock was to strike down the Warlock themselves. Once the Warlock fell, their Magic Power threads would lose their power.

But they were called Puppet Warlocks precisely because they rarely engaged in direct combat.

Against such an opponent, Ryoji hesitated to use his charm. The Warlock's mind/energetic seemed unstable; who knew whether charming them would turn them into a docile dog or a rabid one?

If he let himself be targeted by this mad dog, the situation would only escalate, bringing more harm than good.

"Target the relay station!"

Rich Lady Kanata quickly explained, "When the Puppet Warlock remotely controls puppets in battle, there must be a relay station acting as a control hub!"

Just like a network.

Dozens of threads extend from a single relay station, each connected to a puppet. Through countless relay stations, the Warlock's threads can blanket the entire nation, even the world!

"So that's how it works!" Ryoji exclaimed, suddenly understanding.

The earth trembled continuously as the giants charged forward.

Facing the encroaching giants, Ryoji closed his eyes.

He no longer relied on sight, instead entrusting his perception to instinct.

The giants drew closer.

The distance shrank from over ten meters to nine, eight... until they were just three meters, one meter away. A massive fist rose high, its force capable of crushing a human skull with a single blow.

Kanata's expression tightened.

She gathered fragments of the blade in her hand, ready to hurl them at any moment.

But she hesitated to act, unsure of the enemy's base station location. A rash move might disrupt Ryoji's strategy.

She had absolute faith in him.

Clang!

At the precise moment the giant loomed over him, Ryoji suddenly snapped his eyes open. With simian agility, he ducked under the first giant's fist and darted forward.

A flash of silver light streaked through the air.

The rearmost giant's head was cleanly severed. Even its rocky skull couldn't withstand the lightning-fast blade, splitting like a mirror under the razor-sharp cut.

As the giant collapsed, its entire rocky body crumbled into dust. The surrounding giants froze mid-motion, then disintegrated in unison.

"Looks like that giant was the base station," Rich Lady Kanata sighed in relief.

With the relay station destroyed, all the Magic Power threads connected to it would instantly fail. The enemy would need to send new threads to attempt any further actions.

Clap, clap, clap!

"Aiya, truly magnificent!"

Suddenly, crisp applause echoed from the dense forest.
