Mason rushed into the compound. His car barely stopped before he jumped out and ran to the garage.
Once he got to the garage, he was then sure that Anastasia's car was actually out of the garage.
'What happened? The car was here this morning... When did she come back home and what's really going on?' Mason had different thoughts flooding his mind, as he looked extremely confused.
Mariah spotted him and rushed forward.
"Good evening, Mr. Harrington!"
Mason didn't respond. His face was pale.
"Madam came home earlier... she looked tired. She picked her car and drove out again. I thought you knew."
Mason's knees buckled. He dropped to the ground.
"Why didn't you call me when she came home?" Mason asked with tears streaming down his eyes.
"Wha... What's happening Sir?" Mariah stammered with her words, as she saw tears in Mason's eyes.
"She's... she's dead. The news says she died. Car burnt. No body. Just ashes."
Mariah gasped. "No! No, it can't be!"
