The kids sat in a half circle, facing what was no longer a battlefield, but a killing field. They watched leisurely, as if enjoying a game in a stadium.
"We've grown stronger, haven't we?" Morgra commented leisurely.
"Yes. But they weren't strong, either!" Zrakka replied with a deep breath, "I felt a bit bad, like they were handicapped."
Slythrik threw a pebble at Zrakka's head, "You think you could take them if they were at their 100%? We're kids, for Lodrakh's sake!"
"You people are so boring!" grumbled Thargul, "Did you have fun or not?"
"Hell yeah!" Gorath replied with a grin, still feeling the lingering adrenaline rush.
"And that's what matters!" Auriya said with a cute smile.
"But," Lumiyan commented, his voice full of worry, "what do we do with the mess? Will these just stay scattered here?"
