"This is an urgent matter, Matriarch,
We'll convince the Council later. We don't have time to wait for formalities or endless meetings."
Morvain narrowed her eyes at those words. She opened her mouth to argue—but then stopped.
She understood what Kael was trying to say and after a momentary silence, the Velmourn Matriarch nodded.
"Very well,"
She said.
"We'll talk here."
Kael nodded his head in appreciation, then he turned towards Gruumak who, for the first time ever since they met, glanced at Morvain and acknowledged her.
Morvain nodded back at him, then, without wasting time—
"The first problem—"
She began,
"—is distance.
How will we work together when our homes are so far apart?"
And Kael, obviously, had already thought of the answer, no, it didn't need much thinking, after all, it was the only thing that was possible.
"The Stonefangs and the Velmourns will live together,"
