"You're not like I expected."
Kael spoke as he looked at the woman sitting beside him.
"What does that mean?"
Alrisa tilted her head with a smile, slightly confused.
"I mean, with how the Matriarch introduced you, someone working under the High Chronicler, Keeper of Records, and all that, I thought you were the type to exclude yourself from the rest of the world and only focus on your work.
Someone formal, cold even.
I definitely didn't think you would know how to forge."
Kael then momentarily stared at her fingers that looked no different than a Master Blacksmith's before looking into her eyes again and—
"But you've proven me wrong."
"Well, I did say I would guide you in the Forge."
"I thought you would tell me about the ins and outs, like how the Forge contributes to people, its expenses, productivity and such."
Kael answered.
"Would you rather I bore you with that? I can do it if you want, I know that as well."
