"You want me? That is an unintelligent answer, Elijah. You are meeting me for the first time and there has never been any record of us collaborating in the distant past or have there?"
Despite her fury, Anna made sure she spoke calmly.
Trisha hid behind Anna, knowing that the girl had a terrifying IQ that could probably save them from this man.
Elijah stared deeply at Annabel and said; "haven't you heard of the term, love at first sight?"
Anna immediately cut in.
"That is probably not love. I'm grateful that you helped me, and I would still seek you out for help but please let's be civil. Besides, I already have a boyfriend and you should know who he is."
Elijah's eyes narrowed suspiciously. "Who?"
