But with Anna ignoring her like she didn't exist, she decided to make use of the lie that Oscar had told her to fabricate to her own advantage.
"I don't know if I should really be saying this, which is why I have come to confirm your health."
Anna ignored her, feeling that Trisha might not have truly found out that Henry had framed her.
"I saw Carlos…"
Anna sharply turned, her gaze firm as she stood up. Forgetting that she was ever upset, she asked;
"Where did you see him?"
Anna's heart pounded within her ribcage, probably preparing herself for the worst possible news and at the same time, hoping that it wasn't something too serious.
Trisha seemed to hesitate and the more she lingered, the more Anna's anxiety mounted.
Trisha sighed… At least now, Anna was talking and no longer ignoring her.
Although she hated to lie to Anna or even betray her this way, if it would get them back together then, it would be worth it.
