Royal Suite Room, Hotel Etoile d'Or
Haley stood before the two people she had once called her parents, though now they looked like strangers wearing familiar faces. Her father, Peter von Campbell, sat slumped on the sofa, his skin pale and his eyes hollow.
He looked smaller somehow, like the weight of his choices had finally crushed what little pride remained. Beside him, Maria von Campbell sat close, one trembling hand resting on his shoulder, as if trying to keep him from falling apart completely.
After dinner, they moved their talk to the royal suite, the room where Sienna-Rose and Haley stay while they're in Orrivelle. Thessaly walked beside Selvaris, holding his arm to help him stand upright. His body was weak, his face pale, and his eyes still looked distant. Ulysses followed behind them without a word, his expression filled with worry; they helped him to go back to his room.
