Tristan D'Leon's POV
"I'm more curious about you," I finally admitted.
Yeah, curious. But not in the way you're thinking. I'm more interested in exploring her rather than getting to know her.
Now that I think about it, the Sinclair family has finally accepted me. Even though Jade's uncle and her adoptive younger brother aren't exactly my cup of tea, I don't give a damn about them. It's the grandmother I'm more interested in.
Wouldn't it be perfect if I got my hands on Jade's pendant, the Sinclair heirloom, and all their properties?
People think the Sinclairs are upright, noble. Pure. But I know the truth. They're corrupt to the core.
"Curious about me?"
Jade's voice snapped me out of my thoughts. I hadn't even noticed I was staring at her.
"Oh yeah? Well, I'm curious about you too."
She smirked slightly, pushing back her chair and rising to her feet.
"Since we're living under the same roof, we'll get to know each other with time."
