Lin Chuan's heart was free of any distractions as he covered Qingzi with the blanket. He leaned in and gently kissed her on the forehead. Then he lowered his head and said, "Qingzi, you silly girl."
............
The next morning.
Qingzi felt an intense headache, almost as if her head was about to explode. She lay on the bed and hurriedly flipped off the blanket, only to find her clothes neat and in order, with no signs of disarray. She immediately breathed a sigh of relief. Gently massaging her head, the pain seemed to ease a little.
Suddenly remembering something, Qingzi rushed out and stood on the outside corridor, looking around. She didn't see Lin Chuan anywhere. A look of disappointment immediately crossed her face, and she slowly sat down.
"I knew it, I knew it…" Qingzi muttered with disappointment, "Was everything last night just a dream, Mr. Lin Chuan, have you really left?"
Qingzi sat on the steps of the corridor, her eyes brimming with tears.
