"This…" Lin Chuan hesitated for a moment.
"I just wanted to keep you company," Qingzi said shyly.
"Okay then," Lin Chuan nodded.
Afterward, Lin Chuan lay down, with Qingzi lying beside him, happily holding his arm, as if Lin Chuan were her man, or perhaps her heaven. In fact, to a woman, a man is her heaven, her earth.
After such vigorous activity, both Lin Chuan and Qingzi quickly fell asleep.
It wasn't until the next morning that the sunlight poured in from the window, the faint light shining through along with bursts of bird calls from outside, and the croaking of frogs in the pond. Lin Chuan was awakened by the noises outside. He opened his eyes to find himself in a very unfamiliar environment.
"Where is Qingzi?" Lin Chuan immediately recalled the scenes from the previous night.
Lin Chuan hurriedly climbed out of bed, put on a hotel-style bathrobe that was placed on the side, and pushed open the door to step outside.
