When he lifted the quilt, the bed creaked again.
Lin Hai tried to be as careful as possible, sneaking around like a thief, clueless as to why he felt this way; it was thrilling, yet he dared not make any significant movements.
Lin Hai tensed up as well, unsure of where to put his arms.
"Uh... CEO, can I ask a small question?" Lin Hai asked softly.
"Great, I've let the wolf in. Beast Lin wants to ask a small question, is he about to make his next move?"
"What if he forces himself on me?"
"It would be too inhumane to call the police since he's my fiancé."
All sorts of thoughts tangled up in her mind, emerging one after another.
"CEO, the bed's a bit cramped, and I really have nowhere to put my arm. It's too tiring to hang it outside, and it's going to get congested. Can I lean a little closer to you?"
After Lin Hai tentatively finished speaking, he immediately rushed to add: "I'll just lean a bit closer, no choice, but I promise I won't touch you."
