Uesugi Sakura stood on a seawall by the coast of Kanagawa Prefecture, gazing out at the limitless blue expanse of the sea and sky.
Well, it wasn't exactly a seawall, just a low concrete wall built along the shore, extending from the edge of the residential town toward the sea, forming a narrow rectangle of cautionary path.
Being so close to the sea, people often came here to fish.
Tokyo University and Tokyo Art University were hosting a mixer between students.
Open to all.
No idea how they found this place for their gathering.
Originally, the fishing activity for the mixer was planned to be held in the Tokyo City area, but the conditions at Tokyo Bay weren't ideal.
So everyone spent an extra day coming to this seaside town in Kanagawa Prefecture to have fun.
"Refreshing, university life is freedom! If it were high school, you'd still have to worry about your parents and school."
