The Devil Lords, who received the blessing of Hell's will, were nearly undying existences. Under certain conditions, they could even contend with the gods, which is why they were also called Demon Gods.
But the confidence of these Demon Gods to contend with the gods ultimately came in part from the blessing of Hell's will, so the undying essence of the Hell Lords was a notch below that of the gods.
When these Hell Lords, who relied on Hell's will to rival the Divine Power, faced the Epic Dragon King, who transcended all worlds, their fragility and inadequacy were completely exposed.
