The dense white mist enveloped the city. Looking up, all that could be seen was a vast expanse of white. Originally not appearing particularly distinctive, the Silver Dragon Territory now seemed to float above the horizon, suspended amidst a sea of clouds, adding an air of ethereal mystery.
"When can this fog finally clear up?"
On the towering city wall, an Alan Kola eagle-man asked his companion helplessly,
"It's already been three days, and now I'm too afraid to fly."
Although the gravitational pull of the earth provides a sense of direction, merely discerning between sky and ground is not enough; a broad field of vision is equally critical.
Otherwise, crashing into something would be disastrous, not to mention that at high speeds, the effect of gravity gradually disappears. In such a scenario, losing one's sense of direction and mistaking the ground for the sky would be suicidal.
"I also want to know when the fog will disappear. Why don't you go and ask the Lord?"
