"I guess so?" Fox skillfully repeated Andy's words with a playful tone. He instinctively felt that Andy was quite dangerous, but he also knew that the greater the danger, the greater the potential benefit. Especially after witnessing Andy's desperate escape moments ago, he saw potential opportunities. He thought Andy's proposal was good, though the terms for their cooperation needed careful negotiation.
Andy glanced at Fox, whose face bore a strange expression. He suddenly felt a hint of danger emanating from Fox, not in terms of power but another kind of unspoken threat. Andy, of course, would not point it out.
"No one will be chasing us here," Fox examined the surroundings, which were quiet, devoid of external disturbances. Then he cleared his throat and slowly said, "Perhaps we can resume the conversation that was interrupted."
