Yet, this did not mean the boss and his companions would necessarily fear those stronger than themselves. The boss and his group were not novices; they had faced numerous situations, including confronting those mightier than themselves. Yet never had an encounter left them this disheveled, so much so that upon first seeing Arthur and his friends, their instinct was to flee.
Standing protectively behind the boss, Yi Yi appeared thoroughly agitated, baring her teeth and showcasing a fierce demeanor as if about to charge forward. Yet, under the fox's restraint, she couldn't make a move. Yi Yi's posturing was transparently a bluff, hoping by such a display to deter potential adversaries. Unfortunately, Yi Yi's antics had no effect; rather, they magnified her terrified state.
