This regulation applies to all national public servants. As core law enforcement personnel of the Police Department, criminal police naturally fall within the prohibited scope.
Furthermore, the "Local Public Servant Law" similarly prohibits local public servants, including police officers, from engaging in dual employment. Violators will face salary reductions, suspension, or even dismissal.
There are always some officers attempting to break the rules and earn some extra cash in private, with a batch taken to court every year, and the severity is outrageous.
