The servant Adeline had sent to deliver Aristia's gifts to the Kiran Kids returned with boxes of his own.
"From the first young miss of House Kiran." The servant said, bowing his head as he handed the two boxes in his hand to Aristia and Alaric.
"From Paige. Oh, okay." Aristia nodded, taking the box from him.
Paige's gifts were fashionable and charming.
Inside the box were some hair accessories and ribbons, a small hand mirror, a beaded bracelet, and an embroidered handkerchief.
There was also a letter from Paige saying she hoped Aristia liked it.
In Alaric's box was a brooch, a small carved wooden figurine of a knight holding a sword, and a wooden figurine of a horse since they all knew that Alaric loved horses. There was also a note for Alaric containing a similar message to Aristia's.
Adeline collected the box to put in her room.
The other maid, Cassandra, was no longer Alaric's nanny ever since he turned five years old as he didn't need a nanny any longer.
