Silas's POV
I know it's nothing. I am not sure yet if that man was a spy or not. But still, my hands were shaking, and I was feeling nervous, like something bad was gonna happen—but what, I don't know.
And just then, I feel a touch on my cheeks. I glance at Velric—he had touched my cheeks. His eyes were looking at me happily, and he was smiling too.
"Mumma, are you angry at me?"
"Nope, I am not angry at you, my boy. It's just that... I think we should leave now," I said and stood up, Velric in my arms.
I noticed Shine and Atlas were looking at me, 'cause they were shocked that I was saying to leave all of a sudden.
"Silas, I will drop you home, 'cause it's not safe going by taxi." I didn't refuse, and we left the café.
Once we sat in the car, I told him that I was staying in Damon's mansion, and Atlas dropped me and Velric there. As I reached home, Kael was already there, sitting on the sofa.
