Joy's expression darkened instantly. She turned toward the sound, her eyes narrowing.
"Not terrible, you say?" She muttered dryly. "Then why are there women screaming in his mansion?"
But Maria could reply, Joy had already started running briskly toward the mansion door, her pace quickening by the second.
"I'm going to see for myself."
Aqua blinked in alarm. "Wait—Joy, don't jump to—"
But Joy didn't slow down and Stella followed right behind her like the loyal attendant she was.
Maria and Aqua exchanged one quick glance, then sighed and ran after her.
"Kyaaa!"
"W-What's going on?!"
"Who are they?!"
The moment they entered the mansion, startled maids gasped and stepped aside as the three women charged through the corridors like a storm.
Joy's expression was pure determination. She wasn't going to stop until she found the source of that scream and if it involved Cassius, she was ready to judge him on the spot.
